Anyone been watching Eurovision? I'm not a fan (don't like most pop music in general), but my brother watched it. He voted for Moldova because of this "epic saxophone guy" . The only bit I saw was the bit where a Ukrainean prankster invaded the stage covered with an Australian flag . Apparently that guy has a history of doing weird stuff at big events.
Nope. What is it? BTW What sort of music do you enjoy?
I don't listen to much music, but I generally like modern-style instrumental music. Film music is usually very good (there's some very cool minimalistic music in the movie The Fog, which is made even cooler by the fact that the director, a non-musician, put the music together himself). I also compose music which I use for my Youtube channel (or when I'm feeling really vain, I listen to my own tunes !).
I play in a big wind band and they do a lot of orchestral-type pieces. I like modern orchestral stuff, but nothing too abstract or atonal.
I forgot, my friend who likes country music was making waffle cones in the same stand I was making cotton candy yesterday! Why is this good? It was only us, so we could blast country music without anybody caring:P:D! That's a first at the park in my 3 years there:O:P!

Oh yes, music like that is gerneraly great. Have you heard of Thomas Burgerson? Yes I saw that.
Cool! I think you could call things like Beethovens peices (some of them) "frilly". Have you heard of a wheel harp?
Wow. I don't actually know who would say that though, I think its a bit wierd. I don't mean anything personal to anybody, but I seriously don't get "relationships" a that sort of age, or any age belowe 17! Most of the time they end rather awkwardly and no one is happy. But then again, I have never been to a public school so I don't really know what its like.
That's what I thought, and for the most part it's true. I have seen relationships that actually work well, but a lot of the time one person starts controlling the other person or becoming very needy, and it breaks down super quickly. I used to be completely adverse to a relationship and think I'd never have one in my life, but now I think I could see myself in one as long as it was really the right person.
To be honest it varies between classes. My class tended to be the old "boys hate girls, girls hate boys" thing, and it worked .
I used to think that too. I'm still not awefully set on the whole idea but yeah... I just found out via my little brother, that this girl has a crush on me, in fact the whole idea makes me retch so I tend not to think about.

Haven't heard of him.
Beethoven is OK with me but I'm not that big a fan of playing baroque stuff like Bach - it often gets boring and repetitive. I'm working towards this exam called ARSM (between Grade 8 and Diploma) where I need a half-hour recital program. I need some baroque stuff so I chose Scarlatti since I feel like I can do more with it.
No I haven't heard of a wheel harp. I googled it and it looks very cool .
Random trivia: Beethoven's Tempest Sonata (I've played it before) is the inspiration for the Flintstones Theme Tune . No kidding.

In 5 years time you'll consider that a blessing ...
But I would NEVER trust my little brother as an information source .

The poor people at the park.
Only we could hear it, so they were fine:P.

What about Hans Zimmer? Also: Have you watched Interstellar?
I've been playing a bunch of music by Ludovico Einaudi recently, and most noteably a peice by him called "Nefeli" Apparently its greek for "Cloud" but it more or less sounds like shadows to me.

Probably... I'm still very skeptical about it though...
True but I discovered unquenchable evidence that this is in fact true: I overheard a conversation.
