What's your favorite piece from Williams? And from Shore?
HOW CAN I BE CALM WHEN I BEHOLD MUSIC OF SUCH GENIUS!!!!!!? :tounge:
My favorite piece of Williams' is probably a tie between The Imperial March and the Raiders March.
My favorite piece of Shore's is probably The Rohan theme, It's just beautiful and heroic, and it has the amazing resonating Hardanger Fiddles. Close behind it are the Shire Theme, the House of Durin theme, the Lake-town theme, The Tauriel and Kili theme, and so many more.
It's all amazing. :tounge:
I love those Williams pieces too, although my personal favorite is Welcome to Jurassic Park. It is so beautiful and majestic and it plays in my head whenever I find myself marveling at the wonders of nature.
I love the Rohan theme as well, along with Concerning Hobbits. They are both so beautiful, though in very different ways. I agree that all of Shore's music in LotR is astounding. And The Hobbit, although I've only seen the first movie. When Bilbo stumbled across the One Ring in the cave, and it started playing that creepy violin Ring theme, I got legit shivers up my spine.
I don't know, did it? I can see it whether or not it's gone through moderation yet, because it's my post. I haven't seen a message concerning its rejection, but I don't know if it made it up. You'll have to tell me.
it made it up, but no video.
I posted the video "LEGO Side by Side With a Friend." 8legos saw it, but it was taken down, because apparently, it is against the rules!
*picks up phone* Hello, I'd like to ask you to make sure Body Like a Back Road doesn't become #1. I know a user mod who might be a bit over-ecstatic if it did. . . . Whaddaya mean you don't care?!?!
(I'm kidding, though. )
If it reaches number 1 I will drive to work with my eyes closed:P.
Wait, "the songs on the radio are okay" is part of the lyrics by a popular band on the radio:S:P?
Most radio songs sound the same, with a few exceptions. (And by exceptions I mean TØP and Imagine Dragons )
I wouldn't say that. With that logic, all music sounds the same besides TOP and ID:S:P. At least for country artists, about 25-50% of the songs on an album are released to the radio. And as I said, they are usually the best ones, at least IMO. For example, I loved Kenny Chesney's Bar at the End of the World, it was my favorite song on his new album, and what do you know, a month after the album comes out it's released to the radio:P! So yeah, I disagree, at least for country radio. I don't know ANYTHING about pop or rock radio:P.
~l)~/\/~/-\~ The tie between real life and legos is imagination .
I love Old Dominion's new song No Such Thing As A Broken Heart! It's good even if you don't like country, like most country songs:D!
If most country songs were good even if you didn't like country, wouldn't that mean no one doesn't like country?
That's my point: EVERYBODY says they hate country, but love pop and rock. Pretty much 90% of country now is VERY poppy or rocky, so I have NO IDEA why everybody has a hatred for country music:S. TBH, I think people just don't give it a chance. I know I didn't until a couple years ago, and now I'm ADDICTED:P!
