The point of the edit was that he was not homeless. However, he was poor and living in a cottage that was in bad
con dition. To me, he doesn't look that round. Perhaps a tad bit well-fed, but not big enough to draw attention.
It makes it seem like he was a house squatter. I don't think he had a fixed address, therefore he was homeless. He was certainly unemployed, not sure how he could afford rent and I doubt the Ministry of Magic had a human welfare department to give him rental assistance and other benefits.
Look at his belly.
I think that's just the camera angle or something, cause he's definitely not that fat in the films.

Oh my house... I've never taken any official onews but I took the one here on the old MBS. And I was Ravenclaw. I am Emily I posted my bio(s) before the LMBs closed so I guess I'll have to repost them.
