I'd rather have something with more presence. I don't like porcupines. They're rather dull and non-traditional. The ones from the book are either larger animals or animals with big personalities. Look at Harry's stag. I'd prefer something like that. Seems like Pottermore just ran out cool animals. I've seen someone get a salmon. I suppose I shouldn't complain. I like my nonofficial one better. I was given a phoenix. Much cooler. Seems like something Dumbledore would have.
I loved Remus in the books! People say he was captured perfectly in the movies, but somehow it seemed off to me. Maybe it was just how different he looked from the way I imagined him.
I think David (the guy who plays Remus) got the shabbinees right, but I feel he was too round. I mean Remus was always ill, he's supposed to be super thin and sickly. That was my only issue. I feel like the dress and makeup departments were too slack. They should have limited Remus' layering of clothes.
Wow, that's a little more in-depth than how I was thinking. He got Lupin's personality right, he just looked so different from how I pictured him. That was my main problem. I feel like his appearance wasn't described well enough in the books, besides that he was shabby and often ill.

I just pictured him as a homeless person, I guess. So it works kinda well for me. After all, Remus had been unemployed for years. There is a chance he was homeless until Dumbledore hired him.

He may have been homeless, actually.
Edit- From the HP wiki:
"By the early 1990s, Lupin was living in poverty, in a tumbledown, semi-derelict cottage in Yorkshire. Albus Dumbledore tracked Lupin down in the summer of 1993, and offered him the post of Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor at Hogwarts, replacing the permanently amnesiac Gilderoy Lockhart."

Can't say I have ever seen a round homeless person. This is why I feel he should have been thinner. Remus in the films makes poverty look like tacky clothes and a full belly.

The point of the edit was that he was not homeless. However, he was poor and living in a cottage that was in bad condition. To me, he doesn't look that round. Perhaps a tad bit well-fed, but not big enough to draw attention.

It makes it seem like he was a house squatter. I don't think he had a fixed address, therefore he was homeless. He was certainly unemployed, not sure how he could afford rent and I doubt the Ministry of Magic had a human welfare department to give him rental assistance and other benefits.
Don't worry, I'm gonna be gone for about 3 weeks pretty soon.
What!?! Well I hope you have fun:P
I hope so too. I'll be a den chief at Cub Scout Day Camp this week, but I may be able to post in the evenings still. Don't count on it, though. After that, I'll be at Boy Scout Summer Camp for a week, and the week after that I'll be a CIT (Counselor In Training) at the same place. I'm pretty sure I'll have lots of fun, but I will definitely miss you guys! I tried to change my status to warn people of my upcoming inactivity, but for some reason it's not showing up. Can you see it?
