Uh, yeah, that'll do. *Scarfs down the lettuce hungrily.* We all know how much RuleJJ (that's me) loves salads, so this is normal.
Blackberry jam is my favorite.
I was worried you were going to nibble on it instead, so this is a good sign.
See, that's what I'm talking about. I don't even really have a favorite jam, it just defaults to strawberry cause that's all I got. Finding Friendships
Alright, now it's time to continue my day as RuleJJ, doing all the things that I, RuleJJ, do on a normal day. Say, why don't you list those things for me? It'll be a fun memory exercise.
In this case, yes, I demand proof. Finding Friendships
Well, I suppose it would be akin to the Unexpected Party at Bag End. Dreadfully raucus and far too riotious for Hobbit sensibilities, but restrained by civilised intincts like not smashing the plates as Bilbo Baggins hates.
Example checks out, I will accept your claim. Finding Friendships

As long as it's not grape jelly.
Well, I'm not acquainted with all the ins and outs but I assume at some point you leave your place of residence and drive to work (though that is no longer a guarantee).
I'm glad we're on the same page here. Grape jelly is so basic. I like my fruit spreads to be chunky. Finding Friendships
The dead walk among us and they attend 8 am classes.
The dead that walk are free from meeting other people's expectations, would they really choose to attend an 8am class?
I was about to agree with you, until I realized that 8 am class professors are obviously their necrotic overlords. (Unless they too are slaves to the evil dean )
Classic tongue smiley, fundamentally changing the tone of messages. I can barely invest time when I know I'll get returns.
There's like, four places in Kansas that could be even remotely considered bougie. I have little to no state pride. I am proud of Laura Kelly and that is where the list ends. (Also yeah the taxes are annoying)
Never can tell what a person means when they stick one of those at the end. And in the case of some applications, sometimes you're not even sure you want a return.
Well at least a couple of them must be around here. I just think my state is pretty, and comparatively, it is. Finding Friendships
It's truly the perfect indicator of tone. For real, like do I honestly want to work at Papa John's? Of all places?
That's a good metric honestly. The month of early summer when the wheat all turns gold is pretty pretty, I guess. Of course, if a wheat field is the most interesting geographical wonder, the rest of the state kinda pales in comparison to, say, the Great Lakes or Central Park.
That's fair. I like feeling accomplished, I just always end up crashing hard in the afternoons. The only other immediate upside to me is that the parking lots aren't full that early.
No you definitely feel normal. That's the funny part to me, the normalcy while being one of the top three posters on TBB
Yeah, staying awake later can be hard, but it's a battle worth fighting.
Okay, I wasn't sure where I fell on the ol' scale o' sanity among this little niche community. I mean, I feel like the top posters on here are not, as a general rule, more densely inhabited by the more unusual characters of this site, but that could just be a personal opinion. Finding Friendships
Strategic napping is crucial.
The people more online here are less online on the rest of the internet, I suppose.

Ooh, yeah, that's a good one. I'll, uh, do that, I guess. *Reaches into pocket for a long time before extracting car keys. Starts pressing buttons. Flinches at the sound of honking but approaches that car slowly and gets in. Several minutes pass before the car gets off to a jerky start.*
At the moment, actually, my routine consists of leaving my hotel and waiting for a bus or car to take me to work. Also, my car got towed to my property management company's office, so that's a fun thing to deal with later.
Yes, throw in some chunks, toss in some seeds. I want to pretend what I'm eating is fruit instead of mostly sugar.

Can change entire sentences' meaning. The answer is yes, yes you do.
Gotta appreciate what you got. In the case of Kansas, you just ain't got a lot. Finding Friendships

Or you can just power through. I made it a personal goal in college to never take naps.

*observes* I always assumed RuleJJ was a better driver than that.
Work trip? And that doesn't sound fun at all.
I can't fool myself on jams, but somehow I can get away with telling myself pie is healthy (for a dessert at least) Finding Friendships

I don't know what you're talking about. *Drives off into the distance to the sounds of irate honking. Meanwhile, a small rabbit has hopped up next to you.*
Yep. Six weeks in China. It could be worse; at least they didn't take it to the tow yard.
