I was way too lame in college for a senior prank. How big is the school you're going to?
*the chairs carry on an animated conversation in chair speak, which is mainly comprised of squeaks* Finding Friendships
Itty-bitty. Like, a thousand people. Maybe a couple thousand, I dunno. It's small enough to the point that you can pick out freshmen simply because you don't recognize them even if you don't share the same major.
What are they talking about...?
Ah, my college was small enough to help me imagine what that would be like.
I think they'd take up a little too much space for me, I'll stick to smaller animals. I still want an armadillo. I recommend a different career path. Finding Friendships
Aww, an armadillo would be great! Just don't live by any roads. I recommend taking on a ✨new perspective✨
But playing in traffic is their favorite pastime! I'd hate to deprive Armando of that! Finding Friendships
Okay, now the rejections do suck. I've always found it easier to sell myself in person than on paper. Finding Friendships
Ah yes, but then there's the fake smiles and fake laughter and having to constantly watch the other person's facial expressions and body language and constantly trying to figure out if you're doing something wrong, if there's something on your face, etc.., I mean, I do like how it feels more efficient, but it scares the absolute heebie-jeebies out of me.
Hm, none of these things have bothered me before, and I am now very grateful that they do not occur naturally in my brain. Finding Friendships
I think that was already too easy. Slightly unrelated note, but I feel like I could do a better job impersonating a Nigerian prince who has inherited a large sum of money than most scammers, they don't seem to really get into the role. Finding Friendships
Ooh, sounds like a good idea. Should we pivot to that?
I mean, it seems like a breeze. Plus, it's over the internet, so nobody can trace us. Finding Friendships
If they tried to make a Star Wars movie nowadays on the original trilogy budgets you likely would be able to see the strings.
Which do you like more, the animation style of the LEGO Movie or the LEGO Ninjago Movie?
Finding Friendships
You're not wrong.
To be honest I don't recall noticing much difference between the two the first few times I watched them.
But comparing them now, the LEGO Ninjago movie does seem to take a more cinematic approach, as well as use more non-lego/realistic backgrounds. I think I do prefer The Lego Movie's style more, though.
Nice, I think both styles fit well with the movies they were in. The LEGO Movie really benefitted from feeling like it was a stop-motion in a world made of bricks, but the more stylized approach of the LEGO Ninjago Movie worked well with the fluidity of the Ninjas movements. Finding Friendships
I mean, I kind of already have it. I've worked here seven years and I'm now in an administrative position. But next year I'll be in a role that they have to get me certified for, and the certification is expensive and lasts for five years, so they'll want to keep me if possible.
Yep, that does sound a lot like tenure. I could see you running the place one day, if that's where your ambitions take you. Finding Friendships
No for reaaaaal, it was so overwhelming trying to keep up with quote chains. XD I guess one positive side effect of this slow death is that the community feels a lot more personal.? Though it did feel personal before. Ooh nice. I ought to watch those again - actually, I never watched the whole franchise, just the first two films.
They make for a great metaphor when you really think about it. Be like a dandelion. Don't let the forces of nature and evil take you down.
There were plenty of topics to spread yourself over, I never got the draw of scrolling through a million quote chains that weren't mine. Well, you're missing out on the third at least.
And insert yourself where you're not wanted!
Finding Friendships
i sometimes would do that because at the time i was lonely and wanted to see what having friends was like xDD Aight, I'll check them out! -sometime.
Not a bad place to be. I barely had any time to read this year, but I'm trying to get back into fantasy.
Fantasy single handedly got me back into reading! I love fantasy!!! It’s so whimsical and fun!! Last year I read 21 books and this year my goal is 50. I’m currently at 30 so I’m feeling real chuffed with myself and making good progress
YESSS I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! Legitimately it is the only genre that keeps me looking for new books to read That's awesome!! That's a great goal to have, I hope you make it! (^w^) I've been reading one of Brandon Sanderson's series for the first time after a friend recommended it to me, and I totally see the hype now. I caught myself reading my book for hours within one sitting, which I haven't done since I was like.., eighteen or nineteen years old.
