Oh yeah for sure. Stopmotion? More like Stopfauxtion.

If they tried to make a Star Wars movie nowadays on the original trilogy budgets you likely would be able to see the strings.
Which do you like more, the animation style of the LEGO Movie or the LEGO Ninjago Movie?
Finding Friendships
You're not wrong.
To be honest I don't recall noticing much difference between the two the first few times I watched them.
But comparing them now, the LEGO Ninjago movie does seem to take a more cinematic approach, as well as use more non-lego/realistic backgrounds. I think I do prefer The Lego Movie's style more, though. Finding Friendships
Reading lots of new ones atm. I like going into bookstores and buying books :PP
I don't know if I've ever bought a book brand-new, I'm very dependent on my libraries. Finding Friendships
My current local library charges you if you want to request a book (and it’s the same price as buying brand new) and it’s very limited. When i return home I’ll probably use my old library more. But my current one sucks!
this year has just been me wanting to graduate and reading to pass the time tbh
Not a bad place to be. I barely had any time to read this year, but I'm trying to get back into fantasy.
Fantasy single handedly got me back into reading! I love fantasy!!! It’s so whimsical and fun!! Last year I read 21 books and this year my goal is 50. I’m currently at 30 so I’m feeling real chuffed with myself and making good progress
Thanks! I failed. Although I have some contacts who might be able to help land me a good autumn internship.
Oh my gosh, that's awful! I'm real sorry to hear that. I hope your grandmother recovers soon and with little pain. :/ Gah-LEE, that's a lot. Careful you don't pass out from all that running around. Good luck on the final essays! Starting early is always such a lifesaver for me, too. My friends always wonder why I never pull any all-nighters like they do.
Rest aside, any fun plans for the summer?
Oof. Good luck for autumn then
Thanks, she's doing loads better now and got discharged back home last week.
I came pretty close to passing out, but I somehow did it all in the end.
Well I've already had a trip to Scotland to visit family, and I'm hopefully possibly going to Ireland in August. Other than that I've decided to blitz driving lessons (I did some a couple of years ago but never finished up as I had other stuff going on) so that's taking up a fair bit of time. Do you have anything planned? Finding Friendships
Thanks!
That's wonderful, glad to hear it! I'd say to give her a congrats from me, but that might sound a little strange.
Chad behavior
That's so cool! How long were you in Scotland? What kind of things did you see and explore? I'd like to go to Ireland someday, though admittedly I don't know much about it. Cool, good luck on that! (^,^)
Well, Rome is arriving in the country next week to stay with me, which I'm extremely excited about. We'll be attending my college roommate's wedding together, and I'm one of the bridesmaids. I've never been to a wedding or been a bridesmaid, so I'm a little nervous about it.
That's a name I haven't heard in a long time... :0 Nothin much, just growing up and stuff. I'm about to go to my roommate's wedding, which still feels weird to say

...what's the point even then? That sounds terrible, I knew I was spoiled with my current library, but I didn't know how bad it could be. Finding Friendships
Summer camp tenure? It is straining my credibility that something resembling this exists. That would be a cruel trick indeed if they ripped that from under your feet.
I mean, I kind of already have it. I've worked here seven years and I'm now in an administrative position. But next year I'll be in a role that they have to get me certified for, and the certification is expensive and lasts for five years, so they'll want to keep me if possible.
Yep, that does sound a lot like tenure. I could see you running the place one day, if that's where your ambitions take you. Finding Friendships
Unorthodox seems to be name of the game right now, glad you found a path that's working for you! Working part-time at a museum while studying history sounds like the perfect combo. What kind of museum you working at? Finding Friendships
Thanks. Yeah, it's a good balance. It's a late 1700s cotton mill but the site has a lot of other stuff going on - there's a small village that was built for the workers, and the mill owner built a mansion and garden. It's basically a deep-dive into the indsutrial revolution from a load of different perspectives. Finding Friendships
That's super cool! If I'm ever over there this is now a spot I want to visit. I feel like you guys (Europeans) probably have a lot more cool old building sites preserved than we do, because you guys had old buildings back when we were first building buildings. Finding Friendships
That's an apt comparison. I used to refuse to take part in FF because it was too busy, I was on like every single other topic instead. My Pirates of the Caribbean reviews haven't been posted yet, some of them got the elusive 5 s.
You know, maybe they are just a tad bit inspirational. Finding Friendships
No for reaaaaal, it was so overwhelming trying to keep up with quote chains. XD I guess one positive side effect of this slow death is that the community feels a lot more personal.? Though it did feel personal before. Ooh nice. I ought to watch those again - actually, I never watched the whole franchise, just the first two films.
They make for a great metaphor when you really think about it. Be like a dandelion. Don't let the forces of nature and evil take you down.
There were plenty of topics to spread yourself over, I never got the draw of scrolling through a million quote chains that weren't mine. Well, you're missing out on the third at least.
