You should try and make it so that the "new" indicator on a topic doesn't appear until the post appears. Why? Because I keep seeing new and there are no new posts:P. Then the new disappears, so I have no idea when they will be moderated:P.

I like the idea of going back to the old ranks. If this place is meant to preserve the old LMBs, however, wouldn't it have to keep the current ranks? I suppose it depends on whether the goal here is simply to preserve the LMBs as they were when they were closed down, or also to make changes and improvements.
