Let’s Try It Again – Dragons (Part One of Six)
Drakes: Drakes, a separate species closely related to sea serpents, and, to a lesser extent, dragons, are intelligent, feathered reptilians found far to the west. Their feathers come in many bright colors, and they have long, sinuous bodies, like sea serpents. Also like sea serpents, they are four-legged, but some are known to have wings. Owing to their magical nature, even some of the wingless drakes can fly, though not all possess this ability. Compared to other draconic species, drakes are very solitary, spending most of their lives alone and only grouping up once in a period of several years. Despite their solitude, or perhaps partially because of it, drakes have always enjoyed peaceful and cooperative relations with humanoids. This is aided by their intelligence, which is commonly believed to be greater than that of the average humanoid, and by their placid dispositions.
Wyverns: Like sea serpents and drakes, wyverns are a not actually dragons but a related draconic species. They share a reptilian form with dragons, but little else. Wyverns are two-legged and winged, with feather-covered scales in many bright hues. They are more colorful than any other draconic species. Wyverns are also the smallest of the draconic species, rarely growing to the height of an adult human, and many much smaller. Though more intelligent than most animals, wyverns lack the intelligence of other draconic species. Wyverns live in the jungles of a far southern continent, found usually alone or in small family units. Though dangerous, they are often bred as pets by the peoples of the jungle.

Let’s Try It Again – Dragons (Part Six of Six)
Wyrms: Wyrms are the final known draconic species. Like Wyverns, they are not as closely related to dragons as most of the other species. Their closest relatives are likely drakes or sea serpents, since they share their serpentine form. However, they do not share their intelligence, and are sometimes considered simple reptilians because of this. Even without intelligence, wyrms are dangerous predators. Their scales are typically colored to blend in with their environments, and some inject a powerful venom into their victims. Wyrms live on a continent across the sea to the west, across a range of habitats, including the desert. Local peoples fear their strength but will sometimes hunt them to get rid of the threat to their family and livestock.
And that's the final part of that! (Yesterday's was Part Five of Six, if that wasn't clear.) Is there anything else you'd like to see me post about while we wait for Dreamspinner?
I don't know about that. For me, the story as it is just isn't at a point where I'm satisfied with it enough to consider publishing. To do that, I'd have to make a lot of improvements, including rebuilding the world from the ground up.
I find it hard to believe it needs that much reconstruction.

Oh, it does. At least, the part of it you've seen so far does. Believe me.
I need to go find it, I saw it coming through moderation.
It's on the last page of the MESSAGE BOARD STORY TRAILERS. It's got pictures, so you can't miss it.
I won't...if I could ever get over there. I haven't caught up on MB Stories since Thanksgiving Break. I spent the last hour and a half trying to get caught up on Ninjago Stories...and I'm still not there.

Have you always been Ninja?
Well, good luck with that. Catching up with stories can be a pain.
I don't think so. Checking the LMB rank requirements, it looks like I just hit it today.

I really enjoy it...but finding the time's rough. I leave on another break tomorrow too.
