Nope, I don't think anything is really planned yet besides the fact that they are making a new one. I just hope Harrison Ford is in it.
I would not be surprised if they get Tom Hardy or Chris Pratt to play Indy. I mean, these guys play everyone else's characters when original actors are considered 'too' old. Producers and casting directors don't understand the fans. Or they are at least the most rumoured to do so.
We honestly, do not and will not care if Harrison Ford is 'too' old. If he can land a malfunctioning aeroplane twice, he's not too old to play Indian Jones. At least Kingdom of the Crystal Skull proved that age is nothing if you maintain fitness. I've read that Harrison wants to play Indy again on multiple occasions. Gee, have Shia Labeouf as the main character, I'm not fussed. Just give Harrison an important role, unlike Star Wars 7.
Call it Geriatric Jones and The Old Rocking Chair for all I care.

They CAN'T replace Indy. If anything they could have him hand over the role of adventurer to another character played by somebody else, but they can't have somebody besides Harrison Ford with the name "Indiana Jones"! If anything just make another adventure series with a different character and a different name. I would rather that than some other actor playing Indy.

I'm pretty sure that when they announced it they said Harrison would be in it and Spielberg would direct. I don't think Lucas is involved, though, which kinda disappoints me.

They did, but that doesn't mean Harrison will be the main actor. If the rumours are true, they're getting someone else to be the main character. Probably a good thing that Lucas isn't involved. He never liked the idea of Harrison Ford being Indy. Believe he wanted Dennis Quaid.

Oh, that's good at least:D!

Oh no, that's not good:S. I mean, if you're going to make another adventure series, do it, but don't call it "Indiana Jones" when Indiana Jones isn't the main character:S.

The movie is called Indiana Jones (and then whatever the title will be), therefore Indiana Jones will be the main character. And they wouldn't get someone else to play Indiana Jones, and even if they did, if so, Harrison Ford wouldn't be in the movie. And, yes, he probably won't be doing as much action, but he is still the main character.

Not what I mean, but anyway... By main character, I mean most screen time, not Indy. I think it's likely that Henry III or someone like that will have the most screen time.

Nah, I disagree with both of you. I think Indy will be the main character and will do lots of action. He's not THAT old, he can still do action stuff:S.

I agree, he isn't THAT old. 74 is fine if you stay fit. Denholm Elliott was 67 in the Last Crusade. I'm not saying Harrison Ford can't do it and I'm also not saying I don't want to see him do it. I'd watch a 74 year old have fun for 120ish minutes. I can just see the producers and writers limiting his screen time and action sequences purely because they believe we don't wanna see an old man kicking some.
I'd be very annoyed if Ford was given sidekick status, just so some younger and overcast actor can ruin it... Kinda like last time.

Actually he wanted a guy named tom selleck but he turned it down.
