It was actually a little archival program written by alcom1, I think I was the only person who seriously used it. I ran it for like 2 months at the end of the boards and was able to capture everything to the best of my knowledge. Some of the final post counts might not be super accurate but oh well
By original worldbuilder, I just meant worldbuilder 1. When I was a kid they'd already taken it off the easily accessible portion of the website. I seem to recall some of the robot chronicles missions like dragging things with the towline was obnoxious. I think it just took me a little while to get used to. I'm not honestly sure how I managed to suffer through MLN, given its low activity after 2010. Like you, I joined so late that I had to rely on links posted on the MBs to get the older achievements. Everyone did love talking about attachment, the secret networker. I did get rank 10, and I think I unlocked everything that was possible to be unlocked. I guess it's been like 7 years now since MLN shut down, I have screenshots somewhere.
Oh that's cool. alcom1 sure did everyone a favor for making it (mainly you but I'm sure there were others).
Ah okay that makes sense. I was a little confused at first honestly. The Robot Chronicles did have some very off putting controls though. It just takes some getting used to, but the giant robot that you get to control close to the end is really fun to mess around with. Oh yeah, attachment was that secret networker's name. I couldn't remember the secret networker's name. It's basically been a decade since then though which makes it hard to recall things. Congrats on getting rank 10. I'm sure that took a lot of doing.
That screenshot brings back so many memories. Oh man I recognize a lot of those items like the Bionicle quest items, the beavers, the pie, and the blue and red bricks. A few of those items I don't really remember too well though. I'd like to do MLN again now and see if I could progress farther than before.
Yes, I wonder what he's doing now. For a while he was considered a legend for having one of the oldest active accounts on the MBs.
Honestly not sure how I had the willpower to push through to rank 10 when it was already dying. The mind of a child I guess It's been over a decade since I seriously used MLN too, but I guess I revisited it enough to gaze on my achievements that I remember it.
Did anyone ever make some sort of private server MLN? I seem to remember hearing rumors of it, though I can't imagine how fun it would be with relatively few users.
Thanks! (Also that one with the kid crouching is a unfinished Miles Morales)
What were your thought on it? Reading them is hard, I've tried a few times but never got through them on my own. Ty. =) Yes it was an interesting moment that drawing (I still question my sanity)
Ok. I've never heard of Rocket League, what kind of game is it?
Yw!
They were good books, yeah! Perfect! I'll need more actors. yisrael2 and I are thinking to do an animated movie some time. Perhaps you could help us with that one? (If you want to and if Yis is cool with it.)
That is fair. Yeah I was sad they cut out Tom Bombadil and Gold Berry. I really should read them all some time. My dad red them trough to me before I watched it and that was good. I like listening to stories, it's easier.
That sounds like barely controlledchaos, in another words a tone of fun! Free is always a bonus.
Indeed! Well that makes completesense, gotta keep up with all that real life stuff.
Admittedly the didn't really contribute a whole lot to the plot the movie's capturing, they more or less just added to Tolkien's "traveler's narrative" he had going in the books
No. You are grounded. I waited all through the books and the movies to see those two only to find they did not ad them. I would have watched the movie still, even if adding them made it another hour long, it would have been worth it.

Who knows what he’s up to now honestly, but I hope he’s living a good life.
The mind of a child can be very determined and stubborn indeed. It’s been over a decade since I’ve actually used MLN in general as well.
I did stumble across a MLN private server project that‘a been in progress for a couple of years now. However, you have to install Python in order to make use of it. You also have to have the content files downloaded for it to work, but they can’t provide those files via a link on GitHub because some of those files are copyrighted. It has been getting updates still though. Last time I checked the most recent update was back in April of this year. I would give it a try, but I don’t have the content files.
I might just play on the Lego Universe private server though instead. I never got the chance to play Lego Universe when it was still up, so playing on the private server would finally give me that experience. Did you ever get to play Lego Universe?
Miles Morales is looking pretty good honestly even if he's not finished yet.
I only read the first book in the Lord of the Rings series (also The Hobbit as well). There was a lot in the book that was not in the movies, and there's a lot of events that are skipped outright in the movies. Took some getting used to, and there's a lot of strange names to figure out how to pronounce. But it was a fun read nonetheless albeit pretty long.
Rocket League is basically soccer/football but with rocket powered cars. You can fly a bit using boost, but it's very hard to control and get used to since it is meant for more advanced players. It's really fun and enjoyable especially with friends. Completely free on the Epic Games store. I highly recommend giving it a go.
I'll be sure to check them out. Also, I'd be up for helping out with the movie as long as it doesn't affect my schedule too much.
Indeed, I'm excited for the second spider verse.
That is fair. Yeah I was sad they cut out Tom Bombadil and Gold Berry. I really should read them all some time. My dad red them trough to me before I watched it and that was good. I like listening to stories, it's easier.

I’m excited for it too. Listening to stories can be easier than reading them, but with my luck (and my ears ) I’d probably mishear a few things or not pick up on a small detail that becomes important later on. Would rather avoid getting confused if I can. Though reading the book doesn’t always prevent confusion especially if you accidentally skip a line or reread a line you already read.
Yeah it can be somewhat chaotic, but the teams tend to be pretty small. Usually it is 3 players vs 3 players as the maximum which makes it a bit less chaotic. There’s other game modes that make the game more chaotic though especially the power ups gamemode (Hitting the ball with boxing gloves is so fun ). It’s best to play with friends because teamwork is important, but you can play matches where it is only you and one other person as well.

Americans have no attention span. Most people already think the movies are too long. They had to cut something

How strange. Well, I use Python every day for work, but this seems a lot of effort for a small dose of nostalgia. LEGO Universe, on the other hand, has a much higher dose of nostalgia and is considerably easier. I actually joined a LU private server last month, running Darkflame. I'd been in the habit of checking out whatever private server was going every couple years since the first one went live back in 2014 or so, and I was totally blown away by how they have a fully functional game going. I played as a kid back in 2011, and played enough to get 4 characters to decently high levels and collect most of the rare items. I'm not sure how you'll enjoy the controls playing for the first time now, but it's pretty fun and there are a lot of cool LEGO jokes and some nice throwback items to old themes.

Yeeeaaahhh, that can be a drawback. That's why I like to listen to things over and over, but I know some people would find that boring. Yeah, I guess there's not a perfect way to get it done. It's just whatever works for each individual.
Sounds like a blast! Yeah, games are easier in general when you can talk to the person you're playing with, instead of typing. Hopefully it'll still be free in August when I get to be an adult and have more liberty to play games.

Well, Americans would benefit by practicing having longer attention spans. By watching LOTR with Gooldberry and Tom in it.
I don't think I've ever formally introduced myself on any iteration of the LMBs, so here we go (probably years too late):
I'm MooCowsRock, also known as MooCowsRock on the old LMBs, and MooCowsRock on the old old LMBs. I don't change a lot of things. =P Other handles I've had are Razzmic Crystal Firebird (from Legends of Chima Online) and Vapor (or Thunder Vapor Falcon, from Minifgures Online). I never played LEGO Universe. It remains to this day one of my greatest regrets. =P
I'm a writer by habit and by trade, but I've never written much on the MBs because the character limit is annoying for long-form works. I might still try anyway. My favorite LEGO line is and probably always will be BIONICLE, the story of which I've more or less lived and breathed since birth. =P I read a decent amount, and also do math through calculus and a tiny bit of linear algebra for fun. I'm also a Christian, a third-degree black belt in Songham taekwondo, and I like to think of myself as being pretty good at jumping.
Random fact: I adopted the =P emoticon from awesomepythor years ago and have continued using it on multiple sites. Like most everyone else who touched the LMBs, I'm irredeemably addicted to using it and its derivatives. =P

I forgot to reply to this two weeks ago. Yeah, it is a lot of effort to get it up and running, and honestly that’s the reason I decided not to bother. I tried my hand at playing on a LU private server, but I just couldn’t seem to figure out how to do it. I spent a long while researching and looking for tutorials on how to get access and such, but eventually gave up because there wasn’t much to go off of. I did try to join Darkflame, but their website only had one page that was thanking everyone for the support with no menu buttons or anything. As for if I get the chance to play it, I can tolerate the controls and adapt to them relatively quickly. I can always find something to appreciate in a game for the most part. And I don’t compare how games play or look with other more recent games either because I understand that the old games are going to play and look slightly or completely differently from modern games. And jokes are always welcome in my book.
I’m excited for it too. Two weeks and no reply until today!
Another reason why I prefer reading over listening is because I tend to focus better on the story when reading than when I just listen to it. Just listening to it turns it into background noise than something my brain wants to focus intently on which can be a major drawback.
Indeed they are! They are also more fun in my opinion since you can joke around much more easily as well when talking than typing. Rocket League will still be free in August. It is free permanently, so you can get it whenever you want. Being an adult and having more liberty to play games is both great and also hard because you’ll quickly realize you want to play so many different games, but you don’t have enough free time to play them. I’ve got so many unplayed games in my Steam library that I want to play at some point, but whenever a big sale comes around, my library gets a couple new additions.
Talking on here and getting into my “Lego Nostalgia” has made me want to get back into Legos again. During my two week long absence, I actually ordered a Lego set from the Lego website. After an accidental order switch up (they gave me the Nintendo Entertainment System set instead of the Creator Expert Bookshop set) and a quick and very helpful customer service experience (got everything straightened out within two days with the first response being less than a day after I reported the incident), I got my order last week. I just finished it today as well (I took my time with it to make it last longer than a couple of days).

Considering I’m still pretty new I wouldn’t say you are too late in introducing yourself (at least in my case can’t speak for everyone else ). Hello, I’m zxz6349 also known as NinjaDogDB also also known as Vio. Yeah I’m not quite as consistent.
I tried to not change my usernames much either honestly, but it can be hard to be consistent especially when a typo you made on accident turns into an actual name by friends online because of a joke. I never did play Legends of Chima Online or Minifigures Online. I think around that time I was on the Lego website less and less, so I wasn’t even aware of them. As for Lego Universe, I regret never getting the chance to play it.
A writer you say? Are you the chronicler of worlds? Your choice of Takua as your profile picture seems to be more than just liking the character I feel. I too like to write things sometimes though I’ve got a few years length writers block that I’m trying to break through. The character limit can be very frustrating indeed. While I’ve not hit the character limit on the MBs I have on Discord multiple times. BIONICLE is such a good line that it will never die in our hearts. I heard that Lego was holding a contest on their Lego Ideas website for a potential anniversary BIONICLE set to release while celebrating their 90th anniversary. I still don’t know the full story of BIONICLE, but I grew up with it and even owned a couple of books as well. Trying to catch up on it best I can.
A fellow explorer of the written stories I see. What kinds of books do you like to read? I’m also a Christian myself. Really cool that you have a black belt! I never did any form of martial arts, but a family member of mine did. If you can jump higher than I can, I’d say you would be decent at jumping too. (I’m not very good at it I don’t think).
Ah yes the classic =P emoticon. I used to use a lot more than =P, but I have fallen in my usage. Hopefully using it here will redeem myself.
