Are we rolling? Good. HELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO, LEGO Message Boards! Y’all probably didn’t miss me one bit, but I’m back anyway! My name is F.I.R.E., an acronym standing for First Incredible Ruling Entity. (Still quite proud of that acronym.) A long time ago (roughly 3 and a half years) in a galaxy so close to this one that it actually was this one, I left the LEGO Message Boards on the day they shut down. My handle at the time was snakebuster001, a name a few of you might recognize; I had very diverse participation. Lots of fingers in lots of pies. I’d done a lot back then; I was and still am working on rewriting nearly every television show LEGO has put out, replacing deplorable dialogue and storytelling ranging from the odd to the odious in Legends of Chima, NEXO Knights, and Ninjago primarily. I’ve received more praise on that expanded universe than I ever thought I’d get for taking half the meat out of shows so many of you guys enjoy, but someone (fantasy1111, I believe) adored it, calling it deeper, darker and richer. These little fanons of mine are still very much alive, and I’ll probably be posting them on their respective forums soon. Fantasy1111, ninjagofanmam, if you’re out there, it would be awesome to hear from you.
To the rest of the community, thanks for having me.

I can’t wait to get started.
Oh my goodness, snakebuster001?! I missed you! I honestly thought I wouldn't ever see you again after I couldn't find you on the Lego Galleries...
I'll be honest, there was a thing or two I said shortly before the closing that Fantasy later pointed out was insensitive. That kinda shook me, because then I worried you didn't show up again because of that. But I really hope you didn't see what I said as negative, and if you did I hope it's in the past now.
I always tried to show support for your rewrites because you seemed so passionate about them and it was interesting to see a different take on the worlds and characters.
I've since gotten more and more into the fan fiction side of Ninjago. I've written a story about Gravis master of gravity's niece that takes place 30 years after Ninjago's current events, and am currently writing the sequel of it. It has a darker and more serious feel to it, especially later on and in the sequel. ( It's nowhere near finished too, because I'm planning on making the story several books long. )
It's so good to see you again though! I'm cerious what you have been up to all this time.

Yep, it's me!
I missed you too, believe me. Your and Fantasy's support meant the world to me, and a couple of things you brought up even inspired a couple changes I made.
I don't remember a lot from right before the closing, and I don't remember being offended. I doubt I'd have left it there even if I was. I quite liked you.
I would love to read this fanfic of yours: I didn't actually watch most of the Tournament season (or anything after that), so Grevis "Gravis" Masaar's character is almost entirely of my own making, but this sounds like something that would go nicely with my fanon, depending on how much, if at all, the stories conflict.
As for what I've been up to...
In the past few years, I've been doing a lot of stuff, fleshing out my LEGO rewrites among other things.
Ninjago's outline is all but finished, and NEXO Knights is coming along (though I'm a little stuck on some things).
NEXO Knights and Ninjago cross over somewhat frequently, in things like Cole and Clay having already known each other for years and Sensei Wu being an honorary member of the wizards' court Merlok is a part of. (Wu is allowed one magical item to carry around, which is, of course, his teapot.)
The Legends of Chima rewrite takes place millions of years before all this, and I'm also working on a Hero Factory rewrite that takes place centuries after Lloyd, the last human alive, kicks the bucket, in a civilization run entirely by androids.
There aren't many connections between that story and Ninjago, but there is a monument to Zane, the first (technically second) android, in front of the Makuro plant that becomes Hero Factory.
I'm also undertaking the long tasks of rewriting Star Wars (all nine of them) Legend of Korra, and Netflix's Voltron, all of which I have uncountable serious problems with. (And yes, this is how I deal with that. It's almost entirely Legends of Chima's fault.)
And on top of that, I'm planning and writing three separate original novels, which are some of my favorite brainchildren to date.
So excited to hear from you (and frankly surprised you remembered me at all!). I'm looking forward immensely to talking to you again. (And Fantasy, too, if they're around.)

Awesome. That's great. That's really a relief to hear. Guess I worried over nothing.
I've been writing it for years now, so be warned that the earlier parts especially have a lot of noticeable spelling and grammar mistakes. I do feel like my writing has improved over time by writing it though. I've got a lot of ideas and inspiration for it and am determined to write the whole thing eventually. It's baseically a next gen story where most of the main characters are characters I've made up, including the antagonists. The story starts out with the main character Zephyr who's lived in hiding with her family in Hiroshi's Labyrinth because of a threat her older family members never spoke of. When she turns 18 though she is allowed to leave with her older brother to try to find her place in Ninjago. She wants to be a ninja, so eventually she comes across Lloyd ( She doesn't realize it's him at first though ) and trains under him with his other students. Then there's tons of other factors in the story, especially with the villains and other characters which eventually lead to events of the sequel which I'm currently in the middle of writing.
Oh wow! Sounds like you've been busy and have really thought all this out.
Star Wars, Voltron, and Legends of Korra too? Wow that's quite a lot. Did you see the Lego Ninjago Movie? That was cringy, I almost wanted to rewrite that myself. I tried to enjoy it, but there was just so many things that didn't make sense and weren't funny. Of course, I've only seen it once though.
Oh that's awesome! What are they about? I've got a lot of ideas for series and books. I've actually got one fully written, still editing it though. I've actually decided I'd like be a writer if possible. Do you have any life plans?
( Of course I remember you! ) Me too. ( Yeah, he's around, usually he'll show up in the topics talking about future Ninjago sets and seasons. )

Yep, I've seen the LEGO Ninjago Movie, if unwillingly. Honestly, I wasn't really disappointed by it; I didn't expect greatness and I didn't get it.
That said, I adored Garmadon's design, and Koko was fun enough where she (or, rather, an altered version of her) made her way into my rewrite. In Edition Grande, Koko is Misako's older sister.
All of my conceptual novels-to-be are all sort of fantasy stories (which I find easier to build up than sci-fi, in that you can make your own rules). One is a high-fantasy LotR epic-type, one is a more grounded, urban, Percy Jackson-esque fantasy, and one is sort of like Onward, with all sorts of magical creatures in a world where magic has replaced pretty much all of the industrial advancements we know. I don't want to reveal any more for spoiler purposes, and I make it a point not to talk about specific life plans online for security reasons, but I will assure you that both are coming along nicely.
I'm excited to be seeing you around the forums! I think you've seen the topic I started already, but if not, it's up there. Masters of Spinjitzu, Edition Grande, the first installment of the vast universe I've constructed.
I should probably make an introduction post, since people don't know me that well
My name is Raine! I wasn't really super involved on the OG LMBs but I knew they existed, and I read through all the sad comments on the closing of LEGO Universe.
I come from the world of LEGO Universe communities and thought I'd branch out a little. I work on a couple projects that are bringing back LEGO Universe which is pretty cool.
I play games and program and stuff... pretty nerdy
I work for the US Government doing stuff so that's cool. Can't tell you what I do though
Anyways, I'll see if I can keep up with things that are going on around here

'ello and welcome!
Thanks haha! Glad someone still checks this thread (or at least just browses recent)

Cool idea. Awesome! I hope everything goes well with writing those when you do. Oh ok, I guess I was just cerious if you were thinking of getting a job or going to college in the future or something. But I respect your choice not to talk about it. That's good to hear that it's going well though. Yeah me too! I have seen it, I've been kinda busy lately, but I do plan to read it all.
