I'm not exactly new but I wasn't on the LMB's either.
I originally played games when I didn't have LEGO ID. I would also view the products for each theme, mostly for LEGO City. I actually did know about the message boards and would very rarely view them.
I made an account in May 2017. I ended up finding out that I literally signed up way too late. (This was 3 months after the LMB's announced their closing.) So, I simply made one post on the LDD Galleries.
A month later I decided to made a post on the LEGO.com galleries. People liked some of my builds, so I made a few more creations and posted them onto this gallery. Unfortunately, LEGO announced the closure of the Galleries in December of that year. I was actually in a makeshift gallery with a few other people who could not sign up for other sites to post creations. I might add more details about that in another post as I don't want this to stretch out too long.
Now, the only use of my LEGO ID currently is to support projects and (sometimes) make projects on LEGO Ideas. I did not make this ideas account until December 2019 because I was not old enough to use the site before then.
Oh yeah and I forgot to mention here, LEGO did update their site in 2018, and it looks absolutely terrible! I think their ultimate goal for the kids section was to make LEGO Life but on computers, but you can't even post anything. I only use LEGO.com for, as I mentioned, LEGO Ideas, and to sometimes look at the LEGO Shop.
Other than that I mostly just play video games. (not sure I should mention one of them because its a online multiplayer online game, but it is a sandbox similar to Minecraft and starts with the letter R)
Welcome to the Brick Cult where we sit in circles around Unikitty emojis and sing son--uh I mean, welcome to the LMBE! It's a great community and I think you'll enjoy it here!

Oh so you were on the Lego Galleries, I was active on there. Welcome to the LMBE. Yeah, it's not so great now, I haven't checked out the website in ages... I'm gonna guess and say Roblox?
Hello! I actually saw you a couple times on the galleries with ninjago posts, I believe.
Also, you guessed right!
I play Roblox alot, and maybe some Minecraft every now and again.

Cool, your username seems familiar. Nice. That's neat. I've never played Roblox, but I used to play Minecraft a little bit. Do you like creative or survival better?

Usually I just play survival mode, I never really play creative mode that much.

Cool. I used to play creative mostly, although I'd probably prefer survival nowadays. Since I play Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild for the most part now. Are there any Nintendo games you like to play?

I don't have a Nintendo device, but the Switch does look nice. I have a Playstation 4 that I play rarely, I usually play on a laptop or a tablet.

Hi,
I'm looking for a bit of help. Primarily, advice on sourcing a LEGO item. The last post I made got deleted as trading isn't what this site is about and I appreciate that, but I was wondering if it's possible to still ask about this item? If so, I'd like to try again, but follow he guidelines for doing so. It was the videogame LEGO Jurassic World special edition with minifigure for Wii U, and item that has alluded me for the 3-4 years I've been avidly hunting for it. Supposedly it was a Target exclusive.
I've been having a LEGO revival of sorts, looking out my old sets (my favourite being the 4554 railway station), with my most recent purchases being 2 large Christmas sets. As what may be obvious by now, I also like to collect the LEGO videogame special editions with minifigure.

Hello, welcome to the Lego Message Boards Eternal. Have you checked Ebay or a site like it? I checked just now and didn't see any currently listed there, however new stuff gets listed on there 24/7 so one might be on there someday.

That's cool.
That's basically my main search method. I was hoping maybe a LEGO collector may have been willing to part with at least the box (since I assume for them the main draw is the minifigure)

Ok, sounds like you know what you're doing. Well, good luck on your search.
I'm recently new to LEGO, apart from when I was a kid in the '80s. I restarted my passion for Lego when The Force Awakens come out; and my first two kits were a Rey buildable figure, and her speeder.
A mere a couple of years later, and my collection is growing by leaps and bounds. Currently I am continually astonished at just how good some Lego kits are: Star Destroyers, Saturn V, Voltron, Lady Liberty, and of course the UCS Millennium Falcon.
My childhood collection was given to charity when I was in my teens, so unfortunately I can't help with any old and hard to find bricks, let alone boxes or instruction booklets.
Hello. I am glad to be here, and I hope you're all coping well in these difficult times. While this is a scary and challenging time for many of us, the silver linings of the pandemic are obvious to introverts like myself: plenty of time for building Lego.

Hello, welcome to the LMBE! The 80s huh, wow, not trying to make you feel old or anything but you might be somewhat close to my dad's age. But that's one of the great things about Lego, it can be enjoyed in many different ways by many different ages.
Are we rolling? Good. HELLLLOOOOOOOOOOOOO, LEGO Message Boards! Y’all probably didn’t miss me one bit, but I’m back anyway! My name is F.I.R.E., an acronym standing for First Incredible Ruling Entity. (Still quite proud of that acronym.) A long time ago (roughly 3 and a half years) in a galaxy so close to this one that it actually was this one, I left the LEGO Message Boards on the day they shut down. My handle at the time was snakebuster001, a name a few of you might recognize; I had very diverse participation. Lots of fingers in lots of pies. I’d done a lot back then; I was and still am working on rewriting nearly every television show LEGO has put out, replacing deplorable dialogue and storytelling ranging from the odd to the odious in Legends of Chima, NEXO Knights, and Ninjago primarily. I’ve received more praise on that expanded universe than I ever thought I’d get for taking half the meat out of shows so many of you guys enjoy, but someone (fantasy1111, I believe) adored it, calling it deeper, darker and richer. These little fanons of mine are still very much alive, and I’ll probably be posting them on their respective forums soon. Fantasy1111, ninjagofanmam, if you’re out there, it would be awesome to hear from you.
To the rest of the community, thanks for having me.
