You can see a village right before you. It has a mix of all different terrains. It is quite large. This is the mercenary village, where people who don't want to join an HQ can be mercenaries-for-hire, and where HQs can hire mercenaries and assassins to do various jobs (if you want it to be a secret to other HQs and mercenaries, speak in Jammers). The first one to join this topic (if they want) can be mayor*. As mayor, it is their responsibility to break up fights and keep the town in order.
Old members should repost their profiles. New members should visit the Castle RP Rules/FAC/Voting Topic and read the two Rules posts before posting a profile.
*Unless jacksparrow222 shows up. In that case, he will be mayor.

This is the bio for my second character, Casúr. He will not be a part of this HQ, but as a wandering warrior this seemed to be the best place to post his bio.
Name: Casúr Adharc (Translating from Máthairtheanga into Hammer-horn)
Race: Minotaur
Gender: Male
Class: Knight/Archer
Country of Origin: Aardhemir
Age: 147
Appearance: Casúr looks like any other minotaur for the most part. He is about 7 feet tall (or 2.13 meters), so he towers over the majority of his non-minotaur companions. He is very well built as with most minotaurs, and this muscle lends itself to his common fighting style. His fur is brown, and his eyes are yellow. His horns are quite sharp, which makes them a useful last resort as a weapon. They also add an extra 6 inches or so to his height. This added height was not counted in his original height, stated in the second sentence.
Characteristics: Casúr is calm and reserved and speaks only when necessary. When he does speak, his words are usually few and powerful. He does not have much inner conflict, but resents being shunned due to his race.
Equipment: He mainly wields a warhammer in battle, but also carries a bow with him. His strength is quite useful for firing a longbow, and his aim is very good. He wears leather armor that allows him to move easily in battle, and keeps it on most of the time regardless of the situation. It has been treated with a unique Minotaur technique that allows it to deflect most glancing blows or weaker arrow strikes while still being flexible. He carries an arming sword during peacetime, although to him it is more of a short sword.
Backstory: As a calf, Casúr was raised in a Minotaur in eastern Aardhemir. When he came of age he left the village he had known and set out for the Wilderlands to seek his fortune. Needless to say, he found it. He had an interesting run-in with a dragon early in his journey that led to an quasi-friendship and no small amount of respect between them. The dragon, whose name was Skrím’urgang, traveled with Casúr for many years. They parted after Skrím’urgang decided it was time for him to find a mate in order that his line might live on for little while longer. After that, Casúr began hunting for treasure. He lived with another minotaur clan for a while and was quite well off.
During this time, the fire drakes of Aardhemir began to reproduce once again. They had been stamped out several decades ago due to their vicious behavior towards all things living. News of this event reached Casúr’s ears. He returned to Aardhemir and joined up with a group of beast hunters who had quite the collective reputation. There was the goblin Škriatok, who (supposedly) slew three stone wyrms while adventuring in the Goblin Nation. Another individual was the orc Ovchi, who defeated an elder forest dragon in the woods of Sylvania. But the one who caught Casúr’s eye was a human named Valithor, who had just come from Stennev’avfjallen where he had rid a mine of some stone wyrms. A bond formed between them, and they became good friends. It is in fact true that Valithor arm wrestled with Casúr and he actually lasted a full five seconds before being slammed to the table.
Casúr and Valithor saved each other’s lives several times during the campaign against the fire drakes. They worked very well together, although Valithor’s brash personality often clashed with Casúr’s calm and collected attitude. Once the nest had been scattered, Valithor and Casúr parted ways.
However, Casúr couldn’t go home. When he returned to his village, all he found was a small group of burned-out buildings and minotaur skeletons. It was unmistakably the work of a dragon. Casúr wasn’t going to challenge a dragon on his own, for that is a sure way to end your life prematurely. Instead he settled in the Southern Plains, which reminded him of home. Armies from various lands came and went, and a group of heroes came tramping through looking for some supernatural crystal.
But nobody bothered the minotaur hermit who lived in the center of the plains, so Casúr was content. News came to him that the dragon of the Mountains had been slain by some warriors who called themselves the Forest Band. Casúr didn’t find anything about them to be musical, so he left them alone.
A few months ago, Casúr had an unexpected visitor. Valithor came to his modest home in the Plains and asked for his help. According to him, the southern lands had been invaded by some upstarts who called themselves the Bears. The threat of invasion finally brought Casúr out of hiding. Even though he believed himself to be the last of his kind, he would not allow these invaders to destroy his friend’s home. He owes his allegiance to no one, and listens only to Valithor unless someone else has an exceptionally good idea.

Maybe... But my character is several hundred years old and hails from the Plains. It's just an odd coincidence that they now have so much in common.

The only reason Casúr is so young in comparison is that I didn't know how old Minotaurs could be.

Is he supposed to be in about the middle of his life? If so, maybe make him around 100 and we can give minotaurs a 200-year lifespan. My character is absolutely the exception, not the rule.

Backstory: As a calf, Casúr was raised in a Minotaur village in eastern Aardhemir.
