OOC: Yes, it could only have happened if the HQs really got into the war effort. They did all support different sides, after all. At this point, it would be best to minimize tensions until my Events are over. There are two more.
OOC: Wait, you're only doing two more events before you leave? Or do you mean that you only have two events prepared?
OOC2: I'd love to see the timeline you were talking about in the Forest HQ.
OOC: Wait, you have 2 left? I thought this was your last one. Say, what's going to happen when we're done with your last event? Are you going to appoint a new Event-Master or whatever? Or are you just going to leave us in the dark? Because that I would like to be the new Eventmaster although I might need a bit of time to think of an event. OOC2: Timeline? Their is a timeline?
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

OOC:
LegoBuilder: I am doing two more Events. I don't know if I'll leave after that. When I finish writing the history, I will post it.
mythmaster1: I have two more after this one. After that, I don't know. All of my storylines will be done, but other people can step in if they'd like. The timeline is more of a bunch of paragraphs describing the history of the continent. It's a work-in-progress, but I have at least a general idea of most of it.
OOC: Very detailed. I like it. Do you have any backstory you'd like to share?
IC: A nameless, unimportant Lion Knight NPC approaches Cameron as he enters the castle, "Hello, sir. Right now, it's just me and a few other NPCs soldiers. I think Lord Demiu and the other PCs the others went to the Forest."
OOC: If you'd like to get involved in the current event (and I recommend you do), go to the Forest HQ. If not, don't.
OOC: Well, he owns a small fief in the Pine Forest/Marshes. He draws his extra 25 NPCs from there, and owns a fort and large village (and by large village I mean 500 people, some cows and sheep and a wooden wall around it).
OOC: Okay. I like it. Go to the Forest HQ whenever you're ready.

Just for the record, let me train my troops.
Twenty-five soldiers from Charles' fief of the Losann fief come to train at the Lion HQ.
They are armed with a diverse arsenal: each wears gamberson and mail armour, along with a steel cuirass, steel greaves and steel plates, except for the forearm plates. They also wear what seems to be a more simple version of the Roman helmet. They each are equipped with three weapons: the mace, the basket-hilted sword and the lance, which some five have traded for halberds. There are also ten of the men that have traded their lances for ranged weapons: five for longbows, five for crossbows. When it comes to shields, they all have a form of the tower shield, with the crest of their fief and the colours of the Lions.
In a more simple form:
Ten swordsmen (swords, maces & spears, scutum shields) Five halberd wielders (swords, maces & halberds, shields not generally) Five archers (swords, maces & bows) Five crossbowmen (swords, maces & crossbows)\

OOC: If you're training them by yourself, this would take three days.

OOC: Alright, then. Let us make that three days long. But any way, three days have already passed, so they are now trained.
The Lions Knights return. Of the hundred, five and sixty knights that rode to war, five and thirty return. Demiu dismounts. he orders the training of new knights to commence at once.
OOC: Active members: Shamrock, RuleJJ, EE, FelipeDutra. Total: 4 = We can train up to 150 men. We have 35. That means we're training 115. So three days.

IC: Troop training: 1/3
OOC: Dang, we lost a lot of troops.
IC: *Elbrin sets about collecting the herbs needed for his practice, as he used many at the Ruins.*
OOC: What's the layout of our fortress? And what is the surrounding area like?
The day of prosperity makes one forget adversity; The day of adversity makes one forget prosperity.

OOC: We did. We got off better than the Forest Band, though - they started with over two hundred, and ended with 25. However, they trained more almost at once.
IC: *Demiu, once the troops have started training, goes to his quarters.*
OOC: I think it's a Keep with Great Hall, sleeping rooms, etc. surrounded by a wide courtyard and curtain wall. The area around, to quote teh starter post, is ''rolling hills and fertile dales.''

JSYK, the Shadow Warriors have 125 trained soldiers. Once you finish, the continent will be defended by 275 men. The odds are definitely in our favor.

The Bear Army was 250. The Xain sent 100 along with the Bears, so I'm imagining 200-300, possibly with reinforcements afterwards.

I'm thinking more like several thousand. Think about it this way: If each of the three Southern kingdoms can each gather an army of around 150 men, all of the kingdoms together could gather nearly 6,000. The Xains are here to crush all of them, so they need to have more than that.

Things certainly don't look very good for you guys.
Sorry if I'm butting in, but I'm thinking about joining this HQ and this post looked quite foreboding. How many more troops would we get if I joined the HQ?
