Demiu advances on Corellus, blade held ready to block oncoming attacks.
Corellus attacks with a thrust, but twists his wrist at the last moment to turn it into a horizontal slash at Demiu's stomach.
Overconfident from his last attack, Demiu commits to his defence against the thrust, and is unable to block the slash. He gasps in pain and staggers backwards, clutching his stomach with his free hand. Demiu cautiously circles the general, now wary of his opponent.
