"And we're just going to wait here in the meantime?"
"I'm not sure what's going on here. I got hit in the battle and came here to heal myself and get caught up on the plan for once the castle's destroyed."
"Oh dear. Well, I can't wait to get rid of these invaders." He chuckles.
He can't get anywhere because he is still surrounded by Xains. He hears an explosion, and then everything falls into chaos and he blacks out.
Karthon wakes up to find Dubhan and Casur standing over him. "Are you okay? It looks like you took a nasty blow to the head. It's a good thing the Xains weren't paying you much attention, or we wouldn't have been able to get you out."
Karthon groaned and tended his wounds, trying to think past the pain. "What..? Wh-" He cut himself off as he remembered being violently thrown across the battlefield. He presently tried to stand, but fell over doing so. "Aaargh,"

Damhan tries to help, but his injured leg buckles. "Casur, can you help him up?" Stepping aside to give them space, he clears his throat and speaks again. "You'll want to know what happened. After the general boasted that he'd smashed the Stretigo, Alpida was angry. She challenged him and they fought. He won. I don't know how it was possible, but no matter how many times she hit him, he wouldn't go down. Eventually, she fell, and the general left. By that time, the Kriatoma forces had already begun to fall apart. Then the explosion happened, and it all went into chaos. From what I can tell, the Xains have some sorcerers they were hiding away. So while Rojinn is keeping the main group occupied, they can do whatever they want. The good thing is, they seem to take a long time to work up their magic, but that isn't much help, since the leadership of the Kriatoma has practically dissolved. Any other army would have given up and fled by now, but they just keep on fighting, even without a clear direction. Between that, Rojinn, and the long casting time, we're still managing to hang on for now."

"Where are the sorcerers?"
"The ones that Rojinn is fighting are scattered throughout the battle. The new ones are over there," he points toward the Xain command tents, "surrounded by Xains."
