According to canon, Chima tribes hardly had any airforce except the tribes that could fly naturally. Now, since we're doing "Loose Canon" how should the airforce of non-flying tribes be regulated? The Wolves, Lions, and Crocs should all have an established airforce due to the show's "Helicrocter, Wolf Copter, and Lavertus' Lion Helicopter. However, it should be limited to allow the air to mostly be governed by the naturally flying tribes (Ravens, Eagles, Vultures, and Bats). I also think that the other tribes can have a type of aircraft, as long as they build it themselves, and they don't have too many. It doesn't have to be an exact number, but I think we do need to set some guidelines on flying equipment for non-natural flyers in Chima. Thoughts?
I'm fine with restricting flying vehicles for non-flying tribes. I plan on using my Helicrocters mainly for bombing targets and patrolling areas, not dogfighting.
The flip side of that would be restricting ground vehicles for flying tribes. The Ravens, Vultures, and Bats didn't have any ground vehicles in the show or the sets.
However, the Eagles had the Ultra Striker and the Twin Bike. Both vehicles, especially the Ultra Striker, are quite powerful. Also, both can fly. (Or at least part of them can fly.) Perhaps the Eagles are the one exception to this rule.

Oh yes. I agree completely. This way the "sky born" will need the "ground born" and vice versa. Yes, right now all the Ravens have for vehicles is this measly little four wheeler.

I think it makes sense for the land animal tribes to have flying vehicles, but maybe they should have smaller flyers, with the bigger, more "command-ship-type" planes belonging to the naturally flying tribes.

The Raven's Double Crosser.
I think that the Tribes can be allowed to have both ground and air vehicles at ease. Just make sure that the "Ground Born" get less air superiority/airplanes.
But when you come to think of it, it isn't a very good idea to have a tribe use only air vehicles. I mean, imagine the Lions get angry at the Ravens, find a way to dissolve all the alliances the Ravens have with ground tribes, and smash their airfields (*Hint, hint*). The only thing then challenging the Lions are strafing runs and attacks from raven planes, and now they don't have anywhere to land and refuel...
And besides, I do agree the Eagles are a little bit too powerful. In my humble opinion as supreme leader of the Lions in this roleplay, they have a better armed and better-looking tank than us!
On the ground and air tribes debate: I see the Skyborne and Groundborne should be able to have vehicles for both. But airships built by Tribes from the ground should be slower and inferior to those built by the Skyborne, unless a Tribe of Groundborne focus most of their efforts on taking to the skies. Also, Skyborne shouldn't have that many land vehicles. Enough to defend their base, sure, but I imagine that they'd want the faster ships of the air for the msot part.

I agree with this statement. Us Ravens will mostly use flying vehicles with a few ground vehicles. Like speedors and our Raven Double Crosser. Everyone knows that each character automatically owns a personal speedor, yes?
I don't think that ground born should have an actual "air-force" so to speak. I think they should be allowed maybe 1-2 sky crafts. Likewise the sky born should have 1-2 ground vehicles. So that each will need to work together with each other to be able to have formidable air/ground support in a battle. Remember, all throughout the Chima show, the Chima ground born had a big difficulty with inventing flying vehicles. Cragger was only able to finish the one helicrocter, in the Fire vs Ice theme, because his fire wings illuminated his mind. The wolves were able to make their helicopter because the ENTIRE tribe worked together on it and made ONE helicopter. I understand we're using "loose canon", but we need to consider these principles. If what I'm saying doesn't make sense, please say so.

Can we raise the character limit? Something like 4-6?
*Kittenlion cub eyes*
I won't be using any more characters other than my bear, for now. But if you guys would like a larger character limit, that is fine. I think 6 is a little... overzealous. I would say that a 5 character limit is good.
