That's good, glad it passed relatively quickly. Yep, I wrote around 9 stories I think, by the time I was done. And even more impressively, I think I managed to finish all but the last one.
Thanks, me too Oh wow okay respect my guy CONgrats on that rare feet What was your favorite one out of the bunch?
I'd have to go back reread them to really know. I just reread my last story from the Jurassic World board, and it's definitely up there.
The words glowed whiteish blue. But the rest of the building was black, taken over by this virus, which had corrupted the noble halls. Something in me changed. Reality. Reality changed all of a sudden. I realized how serious this really was. And I would fight to take this place back. But just then someone stepped out of the building, and fear took the place of anger. Cheatcodes, whom Phantom had educated me of on the bus ride to the city, stood before me. And he had his own, personal, guard of viruses to do his bidding. I suddenly had trouble swallowing.
“Hannah! Are you okay?” Phantom’s voice filled the wrecked street. “Yeah,” Hannah muttered, the word more of a groan. “Wait, where’s Sprocket,” Phantom asked, looking around. “I think he was with the worm,” Hannah replied, accepting Phantom’s hand and standing up. “What do you think we should do now,” Hannah asked, looking around. “Probably try to find him,” Phantom replied with a sigh. “Great, but how,” Hannah asked the obvious question. “Maybe… I don’t know. Follow the screaming,” Phantom suggested, trying to kid. Hannah chuckled. “Worth a shot. Let’s go get our bags,” She said, striding into the broken restaurant. They quickly recovered all three bags. “Hey, is it just me, or is his bag kind of glowing,” Hannah asked, peering hard at the bag. “I think you’re right,” Phantom said, sounding surprised. They quickly flipped it open to find a simple web-site address on the Net-Pad. They sucked in their breathes and looked at each other. “Ardentfour?” They asked at the same time.
Sorry for the long wait, ya’ll. I’ve been pretty busy lately (Shoves Fortnite under the table). I hope you all liked this chapter and hold on for more, hopefully quicker-released, chapters!
Also, happy late B-Day cheatcodes. ~AkoalA
Part Eight: O What a Tangled World Wide Web
He stared at me. I returned the favor. I barely registered that my hand slipped from the knife, and the next thing I knew I was slipping down the side of the virus, falling to the ground. He seemed surprised that I was here, but quickly recovered. He turned to his viruses, murmuring to them in binary. As soon as he was gone, disappeared into the once noble building, they turned to me, their destroy code surfacing replacing their dormant code that had been their directive not even one minute ago.
“Come on! Let’s go!” Hannah was jogging ahead. They ran to the search bar buses, clutching the address, aka the Redemption of the LMBE’s. “Are you sure this is what we should do? What if we should get Sprocket?” Phantom hopped onto the bus as she asked the question, concern crowding her face. “I think this is the best way. Ardent can re-code the MB’s, right? So, that’s what we need,” Hannah reasoned as she joined Phantom at same moment that the bus started its journey. Phantom nodded, knowing this was true, but not wanting to leave him to fend for himself.
Why did I have to drop my knife?! I dogged backwards, barely missing getting clean swallowed by the Virus. Fear and adrenaline threatened to drown me as I saw my opening and ran for it. They were hot on my trail, snapping and spitting their damaging code. I twisted around a corner, wanting to get away, but they were everywhere! Panic swelled, threatening to choke me out. I fought the emotion down, grabbing a sharp piece of random metal, turning and throwing it hard at the biggest worm and getting about the effect of a mosquito on a fat, large newt. Scenes suddenly flashed in the back of my mind, my friend as he faded, flickering and crying, trying to tell me something. The fear of the scene powered me on, yet also threatened to stop me in my tracks. I found myself trapped in a dead-ending alley. Suddenly, I can’t run. I can’t hide. I have to turn, I have to fight, or I’ll die. New rage thundered in me, created by fear and mixing with the will to survive as I grabbed the first random piece of sharp wreckage I could find, turning on my heel, yelling, “Come at me! I’m not scared! Not of you!” The words somehow reassured me, even though they weren't true. Anger, desperation and fear combined into a deadly energy, and I fought with all I had, slicing here, hacking there with some simple piece of wreckage that had become my only defense from the deadly worms around me. I wouldn’t die. Not today. Sorry, boys.
The End is near, but is it for the heroes? The villains? The heroes have heart, but a virus? How can you fight that? Someday soon, I’ll tell you…
One of the parts of a hero is selflessness, being able to think of someone else even when you feel like you can’t. I’ve noticed selflessness and passion go hand in hand sometimes. Imagine being able to love someone you’ve never even met. It would be hard for, sure. But if you could do it, that, truly, would amaze.
Part Nine: A Way
*Bang bang bang* “Hurry up! Hurry up!” Phantom chanted under her breath as Hannah Dash pounded on the door. The website they were in was pretty unused and run down, but not shady. Just old, almost forgotten. “Okay, I’m coming!” A man called from inside. They stepped back from the door, relief flooding through them. It seemed to take an eternity to swing open. “I’m guessing you're not here to see how Alex and Rib ends?”
Slow breathing. My slow breathing. Okay, breathing was a good sign, I think. Slowly, I open my eyes, finding myself staring up at a blurry sky. I realise that I ache, pain throbbing through me. “Guys, he’s awake!” I hear a familiar voice call, then I'm suddenly looking up into three faces. After a long moment I finally identify Phantom and Hannah Dash, but I don’t know the third one. “Who are you?” I ask in a crackly voice. “I’m Ardentfour.” He replies. “And it’s a good thing you called. By the time we got back your code was corrupting itself, thanks to a virus infection. If I hadn’t thought to bring my coderedeemer kit, you wouldn’t have made it.” He says the last part softly and I finally remember the fight I had been in before I’d passed out. “Oh, Wow. Thanks.” I say sincerely. The thought that I might have died made my mind prickly and my chest feel tight. “Wait, how’d you know to come here?” I ask, realising I hadn't been the one to get him. “You’re lady friends came and got me. Said that you’d been taken away by the virus and they found my address in your pack. They quickly came and got me and we rushed back here.” I look over at the girls with deep gratitude, although I feel kinda annoyed that they’d gone through my bag or something. They smile back slightly sheepishly, but relief dominates their expressions. Then something clicked in my brain, as if my subconscious was working hard to realise something and I do a fast double-take around the alley. “‘Wooooow!” I exclaim, staring at the colors. The walls and ground in the alley were covered with a classic-looking LEGO stud background. Over it LEGO toungey smilies were everywhere, along with derps and ban hammers. “What…?” I ask, dazzled. “Oh, that’s a bit of my handiwork. While you were unconscious I did this. Having pure code in this area is sort of like sterilising an area, except against any remnant of the virus instead of against a disease. Plus it was too weird seeing this place with no color.” Ardentfour explains to me. “Tell me about it.” A new voice suddenly rings out. We all quickly look up to see a new guy approaching. Apparently he isn’t new to the others. “Kingwja!” The girls chorus.

“‘Bout time you got here.” Ardent says, walking over to greet him. I try to stand up to greet him as well and nearly topple back down, but Phantom catches me and helps me to get steady on my legs. “So, you’re the guy causing all the hullabaloo?” Asks kingwja, striding over to greet me. “Looks that way.” I say, trying to joke as I shake his hand. “Ardent contacted me while he was on his way here, and told me to meet him. Sorry I took so long; you know how work is for me.” He directs the apology to Ardentfour, who nods forgivingly. A moment of thick silence passes. “Well, what now?” I ask after a moment of mildly awkward silence. They all look at me, surprised. “What?” I ask nervously. “Um, aren’t you the one leading this charge?” Hannah voices for everybody. “Oh, right, sure, yeah.” I say, trying to get some sort of moisture back into my throat. I hadn’t really thought about it that way, and I realise I’d kinda hoped someone else would take over. “Okay… well…” I stare blankly at our group, trying to think. And then I get a huge light-bulb; “You all can contact other people who care about this site! Like how you did with kingwja! Then we could have a lot of people who know the site well on our side.” I grin excitedly and they exchange quick glances. Another moment of silence passes and then they all pull out their various devices, typing away at them. I sit back down while I wait for the messaging to end, trying to rest my still-aching body. Soon they one by one say that they’d messaged every MBer they know and are in contact with. “Okay, I guess we should find someplace to stay and wait for the-” I start to suggest, but I’m cut short by someone walking up. I look over in surprise to see a brown-haired girl walk up. “Alright, which one of you nerds called?” She asks mischievously. “Hey, Essa!” Phantom greets her cheerfully. Kingwja also greets her happily, walking over and starting to chat with her. And then another person comes. And then another and more and more until we had a very, very large and interesting group. But even the chaos of the group couldn’t drown out the thought that came into my head and refused to leave. As I step back and look at the group, I smile in approval as that thought chants in a non-stop rhythm, ‘We’re ready! We’re ready! We’re ready! We’re ready…’
Hey guys, so sorry for the eternity wait and I really hope you all like this chapter! I hope to move into big things in the next installation and I think you’ll really enjoy what I’ve got in store! Read on!
Another part of a hero: Knowing when you can’t do it all. No-one likes a soloist who can’t learn to work with others. Your way will be much easier if you accept the good help offered.

MBers Assmble!
This was some quality moar AkaKoala!
Yesssss!!
Thank you so much! I worked so hard to get this out in a timely manner, so I am super happy that you liked it And now to try and write Part Ten x,D
Deadlines and stress when your characters won't cooperate? Yes xD As far as this series, we are drawing towards the End
Your characters aren't cooperating? What are they doing, going on strike?
Lol xD No, they often refuse to be natural and to say and think the right things at the right times But that's why we have rough drafts, people And going on strike seems like something they would do, ngl I'm gonna try and start on part ten today
