*Bang bang bang* “Hurry up! Hurry up!” Phantom chanted under her breath as Hannah Dash pounded on the door. The website they were in was pretty unused and run down, but not shady. Just old, almost forgotten. “Okay, I’m coming!” A man called from inside. They stepped back from the door, relief flooding through them. It seemed to take an eternity to swing open. “I’m guessing you're not here to see how Alex and Rib ends?”
Slow breathing. My slow breathing. Okay, breathing was a good sign, I think. Slowly, I open my eyes, finding myself staring up at a blurry sky. I realise that I ache, pain throbbing through me. “Guys, he’s awake!” I hear a familiar voice call, then I'm suddenly looking up into three faces. After a long moment I finally identify Phantom and Hannah Dash, but I don’t know the third one. “Who are you?” I ask in a crackly voice. “I’m Ardentfour.” He replies. “And it’s a good thing you called. By the time we got back your code was corrupting itself, thanks to a virus infection. If I hadn’t thought to bring my coderedeemer kit, you wouldn’t have made it.” He says the last part softly and I finally remember the fight I had been in before I’d passed out. “Oh, Wow. Thanks.” I say sincerely. The thought that I might have died made my mind prickly and my chest feel tight. “Wait, how’d you know to come here?” I ask, realising I hadn't been the one to get him. “You’re lady friends came and got me. Said that you’d been taken away by the virus and they found my address in your pack. They quickly came and got me and we rushed back here.” I look over at the girls with deep gratitude, although I feel kinda annoyed that they’d gone through my bag or something. They smile back slightly sheepishly, but relief dominates their expressions. Then something clicked in my brain, as if my subconscious was working hard to realise something and I do a fast double-take around the alley. “‘Wooooow!” I exclaim, staring at the colors. The walls and ground in the alley were covered with a classic-looking LEGO stud background. Over it LEGO toungey smilies were everywhere, along with derps and ban hammers. “What…?” I ask, dazzled. “Oh, that’s a bit of my handiwork. While you were unconscious I did this. Having pure code in this area is sort of like sterilising an area, except against any remnant of the virus instead of against a disease. Plus it was too weird seeing this place with no color.” Ardentfour explains to me. “Tell me about it.” A new voice suddenly rings out. We all quickly look up to see a new guy approaching. Apparently he isn’t new to the others. “Kingwja!” The girls chorus.
“‘Bout time you got here.” Ardent says, walking over to greet him. I try to stand up to greet him as well and nearly topple back down, but Phantom catches me and helps me to get steady on my legs. “So, you’re the guy causing all the hullabaloo?” Asks kingwja, striding over to greet me. “Looks that way.” I say, trying to joke as I shake his hand. “Ardent contacted me while he was on his way here, and told me to meet him. Sorry I took so long; you know how work is for me.” He directs the apology to Ardentfour, who nods forgivingly. A moment of thick silence passes. “Well, what now?” I ask after a moment of mildly awkward silence. They all look at me, surprised. “What?” I ask nervously. “Um, aren’t you the one leading this charge?” Hannah voices for everybody. “Oh, right, sure, yeah.” I say, trying to get some sort of moisture back into my throat. I hadn’t really thought about it that way, and I realise I’d kinda hoped someone else would take over. “Okay… well…” I stare blankly at our group, trying to think. And then I get a huge light-bulb; “You all can contact other people who care about this site! Like how you did with kingwja! Then we could have a lot of people who know the site well on our side.” I grin excitedly and they exchange quick glances. Another moment of silence passes and then they all pull out their various devices, typing away at them. I sit back down while I wait for the messaging to end, trying to rest my still-aching body. Soon they one by one say that they’d messaged every MBer they know and are in contact with. “Okay, I guess we should find someplace to stay and wait for the-” I start to suggest, but I’m cut short by someone walking up. I look over in surprise to see a brown-haired girl walk up. “Alright, which one of you nerds called?” She asks mischievously. “Hey, Essa!” Phantom greets her cheerfully. Kingwja also greets her happily, walking over and starting to chat with her. And then another person comes. And then another and more and more until we had a very, very large and interesting group. But even the chaos of the group couldn’t drown out the thought that came into my head and refused to leave. As I step back and look at the group, I smile in approval as that thought chants in a non-stop rhythm, ‘We’re ready! We’re ready! We’re ready! We’re ready…’
Hey guys, so sorry for the eternity wait and I really hope you all like this chapter! I hope to move into big things in the next installation and I think you’ll really enjoy what I’ve got in store! Read on!

Part Ten: The Return
The chaotic group loitered in the alley, all chatting about the old days and voicing their contempt for how the MBs had ended up. I realise that we need to quickly do something before someone figures out we’re here, which shouldn’t take long. I take a step back. “Hey!” I call, trying to get everyone’s attention. They keep clamouring. I sigh to myself and take a large breath. “HEY!” I scream and everyone turns to me, startled. I feel a bit awkward. “Um, hi, I’m Sprocket007, and I was the one to start this, um, journey.” I say, glancing at my friends for support. The girls give me thumbs-ups and so I keep going. “This site, the Lego Message Boards Eternal, has been taken over by a virus created by a man named cheatcodes.” Groans and jeering and several ‘brick its’ split through the crowd, and I could swear I heard an older user mutter about ‘having taken care of him once already.’ I wait for the grumblings to pass and then continue, “What I need to ask is this, will you help me take back the MBs?” I say, my voice crecindoing a bit as I finish. One, terrible second slowly slid past and then almost everybody in the crowd lets out a cheer/yell/roar! Relief floods through me as it becomes obvious that these people are angry enough and crazy enough to take back what’s theirs. And We will. Watch out, cheatcodes. The MBers are coming.
