Well I recently watched Crystalized Part 2 and...it hurts me that this is the "epic conclusion" to the series. The "final" battle wasn't without its moments (I loved the dragon forms) but it didn't feel...conclusive enough. Too many loose ends. I know that there's apparently more Ninjago to come next year, but still. It felt cheap. There were no consequences. And it ended with that BLASTED POP SONG Umm... Anyways, what did you guys think of the finale?

It was cheap, I agree. I think there were too many people writing too many big ideas into one season. We could have gotten at least one other season out of that in my opinion.

Hearing the pop song at the end reminded me of those early 2000's shows like Smallville where every episode would end with a ballad type song. It made me chuckle a bit.
Also...Lord Garmadon my man, my main man... I"m sorry is this the Lego Ninjago Movie or Lego Ninjago Masters of Spinjitzu?
Although extremely imperfect, I'm glad for the memories. It's a strange, almost ethereal experience to be watching the finale older now on your computer after having been there for the first episode all those years ago, staring up at the old CRT Television. I was brought back to a time when I was trying to balance myself on the sidewalk and relaying to my parents what Sensei Wu said about the best way to defeat your enemy on my way back from school.

Life man...
Yeah, they did Garmadon dirty. It's neither, season 11 onwards is technically a sequel series simply titled "Ninjago."
I never saw the whole thing through when I was a kid, I wasn't a big fan. I mean I'd catch an episode every now and then if I didn't have anything to do, but I wasn't impressed that ice was an element, and less impressed when it was seperate from water, and nearly totally disanamored when, in season four, they introduced alll those other elements. Like, speed, gravity, and time are elements? C'mon man! But recently I decided to watch it all the way through and it's pretty enjoyable. Cringe at times but enjoyable. I get nastalgic watching it not because of the show, but because of the set lines that went along with the show. Like, oh, I remember asking for that for christmas, or I always thought that was a cool dragon, etc.
Who was your favorite character in Crystalized? Mine was Christofern, hands down.

I dunno really. I'm kind of at a loss at how these characters keep repeating character arcs, except for the glorious Mailman who is perfect in every way.
I'm starting to think they should have gone the route of having the ninja, (if memory on the original plan is correct) go to the future with outdated technology...or was it go to the past with futuristic technology. Something along those lines.

Looking at you, Kai. Yes, of course. "See you next season!"
You mean the original plan for the pilot? But yeah, that would have been sick.
