Jams, Bobby, again. Alright, here are your orders for now, and after I've been further informed hopefully I'll be able to take over some of our forces. Until then, here's what I'd like you to do: Use about 12,000 MWE worth of cavalry and mounted infantry to pillage and claim Umbarian and Khandian lands, while they're occupied at the crossing of Paros. Send another 4,000 cavalry to assist Gondor at the Crossing of Paros, then leave whatever leftovers for further claiming and defending of our lands.
@bobby. Y'all can consider these to be jammers, because I don't know how to make jammers yet on this new forum.
Alright, Bobby, where are we currently in combat? Also, how much is our total MWE? I'd like us to start building fortifications on our regions and maybe putting more MWE into siege weapons for defenses. Also, what's your over-all battle plan right now? I was planning to start by attacking the Orc HQ, and taking their lands, but I'm not sure if that would work out right now. Thoughts?

{JAMMERS! -GOOD- ONLY!}
Here is the list of our current MWE deployment:
MWE: 27,000 Total in use: 27,000 Total troops 19,600
In transit (north ithilien) 9,900 troops 15,500 MWE 600 Swordsmen 450 Archers 450 Spearmen 5600 Riders 8400 MWE 1400 Horse Archers 2100 MWE 1400 Knights of Rohan 3500 MWE Another
1,000 undecided in transit at North Ithilien
I haven't allocated our seige MWE yet. Most of our troops are in combat or soon will be, either at Udun Vale, or at South Ithilien or the crossings of Poros. At Udun Vale I hope to either break into Mordor or at least pin them down, and have similar hopes at South Ithilien.

This may be entirely viable. See my other post.
However, we could get troops to Umbar or Harad if we sailed them down and landed.
Rohan has had need through it's history for men trained in stealth, tracking, forestry, and swift and silent combat, to hunt Orcs and other foes out of the woods and hills. While these men are not numerous, they are very skilled. They are armed with bows and swords, and can move quietly and speedily through many environments, either to scout, pick off enemies, or lay ambushes. They have different outfits to let them blend into different environments: Green and brown robes for woods, light green for fields, grey for rocky hills and mountains, red and orange for fall, and white for winter.

Noting that this should need to go through the A&U topic. Personally though, sounds like a good unit (although not one I'd like to add to Goaties arsenal)
Tul Generas of the Orcs, Darthraxx of the dragon Knights. I RP, and have lots of fun.

Yeah, I need to put the units there for review. I had to throw my initial units together quickly right as the RP began. I'll go do that now.

The only possible problem I see is the price. Ithilin and Umbarim rangers are worth 6 each, and that was the standard for Ranger units. That doesn't mean that you can't have these at this price. It simply means that they are not going to be nearly as good as some of the other rangers. And you are going to need to pick where. Weither its archery, swordsmanship, stealth, or just a combination of all of them. But other than that they look fine.

That was not the standard for Ranger units, as I remember. Personally, I think that's way to high, unless you are going for a super-ninja-assassin-multi purpose warrior type unit. Worth 6 normal soldiers? These are just rangers, units trained in stealth, tracking, forestry, etc, who are great at scouting, ambushes, and picking off the enemy from a distance or when they have surprise, but correspondingly are not made for open battle, or formations at all. While I see that they need to be more skilled, I see no way why they should be worth 6 normal soldiers.
And, by the way, i don't mean for each to be an expert with a sword and a bow. Some are archers, some fight close in.

In the old RP it was. Thats how much the Dunedain, Athila, Castimar, and Ithitheln where worth.

The original units were pretty basic, so I'm guessing they'll get approved. It's units like this, that aren't fairly typical. And if you want, I could put together a small list of units for you (how useful they are is not sure, but you know.)

Ok, Mine are skilled at range and in melee.
8Legos, I'd like to make a point: The Dunedain are among the best in the Wild. Athila and Castimar I'm not sure what they are, and then Ithilien was WAY overpriced. I've got a stealth unit worth 1 for pete's sake! Rangers would probably be 4-6 on average I'd say, but saying that it needs to be 6? I have 2 stealth units with the Orcs now, and neither are more than 5.

Athila where dales ranger, and Castimar was/is Umbars. I know you've read RA. Think of them as a bunch of Gilian's. Otherwise they are to under priced.
*A squire looks up from the corner desk he was writing at.* "Ah, general, you've returned! The king and his men are currently at war, leaving me and a small garrison. Could I treat you to some refreshments? And I'm sure you'd like to know where all of the forces are gone, of course. Here's a map for you to see!"
{JAMMERS! -Good- ONLY!} Alright, I've taken over the forces at Udun Vale and we're about to restart the battle there. Head over to the Good planning topic and read most of the recent posts there, please, and give me some pointers on my strategy. Other than that, I'm preparing to attack Umbar - oh, and I'm trying to get a specialized artillery piece for the Rohirrim through the A&U topic, if you want to check that out.
*The squire takes the map back after the general finishes reading it.* "Well, sir, if you'd like to resume your duties, your horse is equipped and your meal is packed and ready for you to go - your troops await you, sir. Godspeed and may wings be on the hooves of your horse!"
