Welp. It's been a while. I have no reason to believe I'm going to finish this. But I may as well try so long as my flash of inspiration has kicked it. It helps that this is more or less a story I've told in the past to friends.
A popular format is the 'toa's apprentice' style story where someone from our world is transported to the world of BIONICLE, but what about the opposite?
Well, a blend I should say.
I wrote an exploratory piece involving Emarcee, (more-or-less a self insert of myself as a Great Being) starting out as a Human and being suddenly transported to Spherus Magna just before the Core War.
I'd like to venture to tell a story about the end of his career as this Great Being. A 'returning to one's roots' kind of story. Fitting considering, without revealing any details, that's sort of what I'm going through in my own life right now, poetically enough.
I'm going to be experimenting with some power-balancing idea in this story as well, particularly for Makuta. I am also curious to see how the ability of my villain will look on paper.
Also yes the scenario that is about to be depicted is incredibly ridiculous so just suspend your disbelief.

"...Thank you very much for coming to my office as I requested, Takeshi-san."
"Well of course, boss... is something wrong?"
"First of all, I see you've finally recovered from that terrible fever you were experiencing... is that correct?"
"Um... yes sir..."
"Did you have difficulty finding this office?"
"Well... maybe just a little..." the salaryman admitted, scratching the back of his head sheepishly.
"..."
"Takeshi-san. We are very sorry. But considering the ongoing expenses we have had to make for your healthcare, the mysterious nature of your medical history, and your newfound disability on top of everything else... we are afraid to report to you that we can no longer have you at our company. We wish you the best of luck in your life..."
"...?"
Takeshi Kirazima sat in his seat in shock. He couldn't believe what he was hearing. No sooner did he return from an ordeal he could not explain his company he's worked at for years developed the nerve to lay him off?!
He couldn't stand it for even an instant.
"We will provide proper compensation for..."
"Wait... what the...? WHAT HAPPENED -- WHY CAN'T I SEE?!"
"What's wrong, boss? going blind?" Kirazima smirked. He was done licking this fat fool's boots. He was done putting up with lies and being taken advantage of.
After he got his anger off his chest, he stood up, pocketed his hands, and quietly walked out, slinging his suit over his shoulder. Nobody saw him leave. Because they couldn't see at all so long as he willed it.
