Yeah. Fingers crossed that we actually get it approved.
Lego hasn't been doing very well picking interesting sets. I guess they're trying to appeal more to AFOLs who want display pieces for their shelves. Doesn't change the fact that the globe and typewriter are kind of boring.
Yeah. The typewriter instead of Zelda was very disappointing.

I was really disappointed the stables didn't win. Hyrule castle is just a castle which has been done before by Lego. But the stable is a really unique design that would make a great set.
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.

Yeah, me too. I was one of the early supporters of both of those projects, and it really stinks that LEGO isn't bringing us Zelda sets. Maybe it would feel better if LEGO Mario was a normal LEGO theme with minifigures.

Mario would have been cool as something with real minifigures, but similar to the old lego games line, specifically Heroica. There could be a few sets based on each popular Mario game: Galaxy, Odessey, etc... Have a heavy focus on modular customization so people can purchase multiple of the same set to connect and expand into a complete world.

Right, or we could get big sets with great minifigures. One idea could be Peach's castle, Bowser's airship, etc. We could have mario, luigi, peach, bowser minifigs, etc. It could be really good honestly

Idk why they went with what they did, other than that Lego thinks they need to do weird stuff to be successful.

I thought LEGO wanted to do it normally, but Nintendo was like "No. We're doing it the weird way."

I dunno, man. That typewriter is pretty good.
I'm not saying it isn't. It's pretty good, yeah, but it's just weird that they picked that instead of Zelda which has been super high in demand since the first Zelda project existed.

Dead chat so you'll never see this but Lego Zelda is coming now.
