I hoped for the train station and some new Indiana Jones stuff would have been cool too, but I think the winning sets aren't bad either.

It's possible there still will be. I don't think they've confirmed whether or not they've decided to reject the idea.

Lego hasn't been doing very well picking interesting sets. I guess they're trying to appeal more to AFOLs who want display pieces for their shelves. Doesn't change the fact that the globe and typewriter are kind of boring.
