Something like that. That's true, I haven't seen much dark green and black color schemes. Ooh, that would be neat, as well as intricate to implement as a mechanism. Yep. That'll be really interesting integrating a rock BURP element into a spaceship, especially since it's not a symmetrical piece. Those BIONICLE pieces can add a lot of texture and shaping to your spaceship.
Speaking of dark green color schemes, I mostly reassembled AP's Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship (still missing like 4 pieces but hopefully they turn up) today, that's one of the few iconic dark green spaceships from star wars. I'd always wanted it as a kid, and honestly the engine rotating thing is cool but structurally underwhelming.
I'm just thinking about integrating some BIONICLE Kongu elements... I guess in general theme it would be similar to the T-6 Jedi Shuttle how it rotates, I'd imagine I could use those rock pieces around the center somehow. I should draw up some sketches sometime.
I kind of remember that ship. I had a Brickmaster version of that which was smaller. It does look pretty cool with the rotating engines, but like you said there isn't much in structure. Pretty straightforward to put together.
That would be pretty neat, especially with Kongu's blasters if you're going to use them. Ah, so a cockpit that rotates around the wings. That would be pretty cool, I think most LEGO models just use gravity to maintain the cockpit's orientation. Ah, I see. Maybe that rock piece could also be a sliding door or something.

I forgot about Brickmaster. One month they sent me a second brickmaster parcel, I opened one end, noticed it was what I already had, and took nothing out of the box. No idea if there's a market for brand new brickmaster merch, but that's a cool item in my collection.
Which blasters are you referring to? The mahri? I was actually already intending to use Mahri blasters as engines for that other spaceship I've been thinking about for a million years, I could use them on this (if I make it) to have super Kongu themed ship. I even have the minifig ignika kongu from AP. I think I'd use gravity for wing capsules but that design for the cockpit? The rock pieces could be a nice fuselage

Same with me, but it definitely was a fun subscription to get into. Wow, I guess you got lucky with having a second set. I know there's people who collect sets that are new in polybags, so brickmaster sets are quite hard to acquire I guess.
Oh yeah, the mahri blasters. I forgot you already had a usage for them. I guess now that's two Kongu themed ships, one with his blasters and one with his dark green pieces. Ooh, Bionicle minifigures. I haven't those very much, though I remember the Toa Terrain Crawler looked fun to play with. Something like that, I guess. It'll have a pretty unique texture too.

It was annoying back when they would just send you a random $10 LEGO set, I got a few duplicates. For some reason my mother wouldn't let me have any duplicates and forced me to give them away. I would have liked the extra pieces, personally The brickmaster exclusive sets were always fun, though. I have some sealed polybags from the 80s that are surprisingly not worth a whole lot the last time I checked. I think I have the mini sopwith camel sealed too.
My schtick should just be finding ways to use BIONICLE in spaceships, I guess. The pieces in those BIONICLE figs are pretty neat, maybe I can figure out some use for them.

I suppose, though some of them were interesting sets. Huh, I wouldn't expect parents to actually force you to give away duplicates, especially if you got them without paying too much. Wow, polybags from the 80s, I thought they would've been worth a lot more. I would guess a lot of people would be interested in the tiles of the mini sopwith camel. I can't remember when those colors of tiles were used.
That would be neat. Almost like the vehicles in Bionicle, but just in minifigure scale. Maybe as statues for regular minifigures to look at Bionicle's history.

Yes, a strange memory from my childhood. Quite perplexing. Thankfully when I ended up with 2 of the stormtrooper battle pack later in my childhood they understood the importance of having several stormtroopers
I mean, it's a snow man and santa claus so not extremely popular polybags. The sopwith camel is presumably worth more, though sand green is more common with Harry Potter, I think.

The possibilities are endless
Perplexing indeed. Ah, that's good. Those battle packs are the basis of an impressive stormtrooper army, even though I've never actually gotten multiple battle packs before.
Ah, gotcha. Those are probably very easy to recreate with today's pieces. That's true. Harry Potter has increased the usage of sand green parts for Hogwartz roofs.
For sure. I've always wondered if Bionicle would have an impact in minifigure-themed lore.

I think I got both as Christmas gifts from different people. Same way I managed to get multiple of a few 2011 Star Wars sets... kept the duplicates in the sealed box though so they're worth like double what they were at first though
They've been able to use BIONICLE pieces in enough minifig-scaled sets, if nothing else.

Ah, that makes sense. I got two LEGO Ferraris F430s from two different families on different occasions, but thankfully the set has an alternate model color, so I could build both versions. That's a good investment. Some of the good sets have probably tripled in price by now.
Oh yeah, that's true. Every theme is already connected just by what pieces they already use.
