True. I tend to pick the set that is the soonest towards ending production. At least there would still be time to pick up other sets that are newer. Ah, I remember you said you had the UCS Batmobile, right? Wow. I didn't think being in a different discipline could affect your eligibility for a calculus award. I would've thought anyone who took Calculus classes would qualify. I can never be certain when sets are ending production, I've ended up being disappointed too many times. And yes, I have the UCS Batmobile and Batwing, and will be getting the Tumbler from AP next weekend. I think the Tumbler is a little dilapidated so I'll have to repair that as well. Apparently it was just for the engineers. Go figure, right? Ah, I can understand that. I never know either, but I just assume sets retire in the order they began, with a few exceptions here and there. Ah, very cool. You'll eventually have the entire Batman vehicle collection. Just gotta put them in a big Batcave. Very interesting. Yeah, I guess that figures.

It generally doesn't take up TOO much time either, which is nice. That's good. You seem to write posts pretty quickly. I clearly still have the skills that enabled me to make like 153000 posts on the MBs. I've probably made more "quality posts" here than I did there, however...

I'm pretty sure it's just those 3 in the UCS Batman line, thankfully. Maybe they'll make the Bat submarine next or something. I got this big black / very dark brown bookshelf from IKEA (I took your advice on the convenience of IKEA furniture ) and I think the UCS Batman sets will look very nice on it... so that can be my Batcave.

We were all young and energetic teenagers back then.

That's fair. That's an easier way to make decisions. Yep, those three as far as I'm aware of, unless you also want the older UCS Batmobile from 2006. Ooh, very nice. Glad I could help with furniture suggestions from Ikea. They'll look very nice inside.

It surprisingly doesn't sell for that much, and isn't the most attractive thing. I vastly prefer my newer Batmobile... which I need to build. If I ever get them built I'll post a picture of the setup.

That's true, the newer Batmobile is vastly superior, especially the steering which I'm most surprised by. I think you'll enjoy it when you get to building it. That'll be cool.

I'm at AP's right now and I think he's swapping me a technic crane that seems to have some fairly advanced pieces... could be useful in many builds.

Quite so. The transition from TFOL to AFOL has been quite an adventurous one. At least my interest in LEGO hasn't dwindled That's good. My interest hasn't dwindled much, but it has been harder to think of new MOC ideas and unique creations.

Better with the newer Batmobile then, I guess. Ooh, very cool. That'll be really fun to work with.

I've gotten my hands on his Batman Tumbler and I think it's in such bad shape that I may be better off just taking it apart entirely, figuring out what pieces I need, then rebuilding it all.
