How do the books change your ranking?
It's been a while since I read the English version.
You should look at reading the first book. Half Blood Prince is very backstory heavy. It can get kinda boring if you have no interest in the characters.
I think all the books are great, but I'll have a go at rating them. The first two on my list are probably my favourite. The rest are all equally good. Though I don't remember being too enthusiastic about Deathly Hallows. Could just be because it was it all up.

Do you have a favourite character?
Yeah, I'll maybe start with the first book, after I read the Lord of the Rings books.
From Fantastic Beasts my favorite character is Jacob and from Harry Potter my favorite character is Sirius Black, but I also really like Lupin, Hagrid, Snape, Dumbledore and McGonagall. Kingsley is pretty cool too.

Who is your favorite character?
We pretty much have the same favourite characters, but I really like Ron, too. He has a lot more depth in the books. Ron, Dumbledore and Lupin are probably my favourites. Jacob is the only character I like from Fantastic Beasts.
I can relate to Ron more than anyone else in the series. I have four older brothers, grew up in a shabby rural home, played a lot of unorganised sports, had a stay-at-home mum and shared a lot of my stuff. It's like JKR wrote about my family and childhood.
I'm definitely more comfortable with my family and wealth than Ron is.
When you read the books, let me know what you think of Ron.
