The problem is finding out what that change is. Any suggestions?
Not sure if this counts as encouraging another platform change, but would it be possible to create a new website that's customized to be the best of both worlds, with aspects of message boards, galleries, and live chat? It would be unique enough to set us apart from sites like Eurobricks.
I've considered this exact idea actually. Maybe. It doesn't necessarily have to be connected to LMBE, considering it would be a new website, and it probably wouldn't be a successor to LMBE, but rather maybe something that stands alongside it. It's a good idea, I think, but it wouldn't really do much for LMBE, unless it is it's replacement, and that isn't happening.

We could keep this site for the people who currently use it, but create a new one as an expansion to the community, if not necessarily this site itself.
I can't believe I had the same awful signature for nearly 8 years. Sorry for disappearing for 2 months, life happened for a bit.

Well, yeah, I guess. I'll give the suggestion to staff, and see what I could do. I think it would be a good idea to like, maybe try to get more activity on this site instead of creating another one. There's always like you said, things we could, like features to add that are appealing, maybe a gallery, or maybe we could benefit from some good marketing. I don't really know, but I hope we could become as active as we were in 2017, once again in the future.

Aren't there restrictions on what can be done with Proboards? I thought it only supported message boards.

There's a lot of restrictions with ProBoards. Too many. We don't necessarily have to use ProBoards though for anything other than this site. And as for PB sites, like this one, you could get creative, and technically a gallery is possible and live chats too. AI moderation however is not possible.

Could the staff transfer the code to a new site?

We could. The problem would be the inconvenience of having our users move to a new website, and we'd need to make some complex importing content system, and that would just kind of be worse than the current situation.

I guess it makes the most sense to stay then.

By bringing in people who weren't on LMB, like young kids/appealing to a new young audience. Most people on LMB have grown up and want to move on from LMB or LEGO, or they just got used to using other forms of communication, and not LMBE/TBB which is relatively strict in moderation.
Actually, the strict moderation may appeal to parents, as they will feel that their kids are safer. But the hard bit is advertising the site.

Problem is that LMBE doesn't have people under 13, since it's against PB's rules and stuff.

TBH, I ain't here for LEGO. Just for the community.
