Today is March 10th, also known as Mario Day.
But guess what? Today LEGO and Nintendo announced they're new collaboration with each other, and they confirmed that there is going to be a Super Mario Bros LEGO theme!
I'm so excited since this is the first time LEGO is making nintendo sets, and this could be a step forward to other LEGO Nintendo sets, like Zelda, Animal Crossing, Kirby, etc!
I really hope the minifigures and sets are awesome! It's been a while since I got a LEGO Set, but I know that these sets I won't be able to say no to most likely.

This is amazing and supposedly there will be 13 sets and a blind pack series. Hopefully the blind packs are a minifigure series and I hope for some Mario Kart sets too.

Well, Nintendo just made a partnership with LEGO, so LEGO Splatoon isn't too far off I think. Though it's more likely in my opinion that they'd do something like LEGO Zelda (every fan is pushing for that), or Pokemon (hopefully? ), or maybe like a Super Smash Bros minifigure pack with characters from all over nintendo? I don't really know, but now that Nintendo and LEGO don't hate each other anymore, I think Nintendo LEGO Ideas projects have bigger chances of getting accepted?
I'm just hyped to see LEGO Super Mario sets and figures! I wanted this collaboration for years, and each time a LEGO Ideas Nintendo themed set got rejected, it was sad. So I'm very happy.

Maybe they will make smaller figures for the blind bags like the Thanos Mech figure. Well, everything is better than the Nexo Knight blind bags.

I remember years ago when I thought it'd be cool to have Mario/Nintendo sets. Excited to see how they turn out! What we really need though despite knowing nothing about it are some LoZ sets.

I did hear about that! It sounds like it's gonna be cool! GASP! I just realized we might get a Koopa Troopa minifigure! Also Zelda sets would be absolutely amazing. Especially if they made a Breath of the Wild one.
New tweets came out today from LEGO and Nintendo, it's going to be an interactive tabletop game rather than traditional sets, along the vein of their old board games line.

Nintendo made a 50-second video showcasing some of the Super Mario LEGO sets about an hour ago, and in my opinion they look very interesting =D I look forward to seeing more great content from this collaboration =D (but probably not immediately, too many themes at once could be silly =P )
