Hi, so I was looking through some old files and I found four or five short stories I wrote a while back. As I read them, I thought "Wow, my writing has really improved." I cringed. I laughed. There are a few gems in there. So I'd like to share some stories with you. This topic especially is to answer any questions about the stories people may have, and I'll do my best to sum up a few key concepts.
First, the Fictiverse is a fictional universe where all fiction is nonfiction. It exists as a collection of multiverses, including every version, every reality, even deleted scenes and old script drafts from movies form a world here. It even goes so far as to have worlds where little lies and corny jokes are actually canon, legit history. Essentially, the worlds in the Fictiverse emanate imagination, which goes to the real world. This is essentially what it seems like, the imagination that inspires people is actually the history of a world in the Fictiverse. Real people, in turn, generate creativity, an energy that fuels the Fictiverse. It's a cycle that keeps everything going, and if it were to break, humans in the real world would lose all imagination and humanity would cease to exist.
Second, my sibs and I kinda developed this game. We'd take the persona of our toys, mostly LEGO, My Little Pony, some action figurs, etc. and kinda do roleplay. We'd act out the different characters, to the point where I call my sister Cole (as in the Ninjago Cole) on a regular basis. Anyway, these characters have been developed to the point where... well... there's a character called Insane Cole, which is basically a loony toon. Zane is a brony, and kind of a crybaby. And Jay is a stressed out father and husband tasked with protecting the multiverse and running a spy organization. (That last one is me. ) Oh, and Kai is a war-monger and a moron, who hangs out and commits crimes with Laval and Batman.
These characters live in a world called a Collisoon Course, the story is that they were pulled, or copied, from certain points in time from throughout the Fictiverse. For example, my Jay was from a S4 LeGO set, so he arrived with a mech and tournament gear. As if in the middle of a battle he suddenly appeared in our world. Zane is from S3, so when he saw the S3 finale on tv (Cole showed him for kicks), he cried. This explains the strange and seemingly random combination of characters.
The Toa in the first story are Furnie (a Furno figure, but he's technically his adopted son), Evis (the shadow one, son of Evo and Belle (Yeah, Belle from Beauty and the Beast (dont ask))), and Evin (Evis' brother.) In the story they travel to the island of Mata Nui to claim their Toa titles and rescue the other Toa. These Toa are the children of the real Toa. The story I wrote combines both the original and the reboot, so the og toa are on Okoto (or whatever the new island was called). There's also a lot more Toa and elements (I was really into Skylanders at the time, plus Tournament of Elements).
Um, what else... Toa Tablets were basically trading cards I created, that gave heroes the powers of kanohi, weapons, beasts, krata, etc.
The Toa Ninjago is an attempt by Jay to reunite the team, although Kai's a moron and Kohl is a copy of Cole... techincally known as the Undead Cole... he's a zombie.
The ninja kids are a different story. Minya and Minijay are actually nindroid clones of Jay and Nya. Flare and Rocky are the biological sons of Kai and Cole. Kodi (whose original name is Clown (long story)) is the son of Evis and White Ranger. White Ranger is actually a woman, Evis' wife, and a rather violent and souless monster. Flurry is Zane's kid, technically a combo of Zane and Pixal, but she can't speak. Minijay, too, was a malfunction (another long story). Molly is basically Supergirl, there was a whole story involving Zane being shrunken down and mistaken for a kids toy... hence the kid. Creepy is Undead Cole or Kohl's daughter, so shes also kinda undead.
Nai is a custom LEGO Friends figure that's dating Kai. Vilgax is a criminal overlord in Jay's city.
So the first story is simply the prologue that goes into the Fictiverse with a bit more detail. And remember, some of this is outdated and cringy, so have fun
In the next story, Kanuva (Toa of Light), Muro (Toa of Shadow), and Matanu (Toa of Life) are Toa. The story of Mata Nui goes that the original six went to Okoto (the rebooted island). While they were gone, the island grew and took on new elemental regions, and the new Toa came to power. The Zombie Jawas have been plaguing the Fictiverse, and the island is a key point of attack. The three heroes are actually the children of Herofactory heroes Furno (Kanuva) and Evo (other two). They've been training under Sensei Grumpy (koala bear), who had them retrieve Toa Tablets (cards with powers made of protodermis, like trading cards). Tahu recruited them to travel to Mata Nui and reawaken the new Toa, who have been turned to Matoran and memory wiped. The story begins in the Ice Region, where the Toa await a vision from Tahu.
Okay, now things get complicated... Jay, Lightning, father of two and married. Cole, from dimension where the ninja are insane, Earth. Kohl, from undead dimension. Also Earth. Kinda Undead. Zane, Ice. Fairly normal. Kai, Fire, kind of a jerk who hangs out with Batman and Laval. Not relevant.
Tahu, Fire, essentially Sensei.
Kanuva, Muro, Matanu, now Toa. Their old job was collecting Toa Tablets. Now they're on a new mission.
Tahu asks Jay to take the Toa's old job.
Joeys are small woodpeckers, essentially cartoon characters. Long story. Bravo, Joey, jerk and mayor of town.
