~Intro~ A couple of the readers of Claws of Night have expressed interest in reading this, so hey, why not? About a year ago, I decided to finally give Rowena Wolfvale her own story. She has appeared in nearly everything I've ever written, in one form or another, whether LEGO or not, and I've given more character and backstory and life to her, then I've given most stories' protagonists. It's like she's my daughter or something, I've watched her change and grow throughout my stories and seen how other characters that came along helped to shape her and make her into the character she is in CoN. Yes--that sounds silly, but I'll bet you fellow writers know what its like. Anyways, this book is significantly shorter than CoN and is told through a series of letters between Rowena and her nieces, Isabel and Autumn Thorn, with story parts in between the letters. I don't know how well this will go, writing like this, but hopefully you'll enjoy it and it will work out. About a year ago, I also decided to quit writing the book about her. Recently I've started it back up again so I don't have very much written, but as I write it, I'll post it. LordTigress and ninjagofanmam , also, Thomas , I thought you might like to see this. If not, is there a way to untag?
And without further ado, *dims lights* farewell, God bless and please enjoy!

My dear nieces, Isabel & Autumn Thorn When I wrote you that first letter, I was not expecting you to reply with a boatload of more questions! Kids, always so curious. Fine, I shall tell you, but no one else! Do you understand me? No one else! And if you ever tell anyone else, I’ll have one of my mage friends turn you both into fluffy white rabbits! Cotton tails and all.
Alright, I’ll tell you about my life, but I’m warning you, its not some kind of happy, fun story with rainbows and sunshine. No, this story is dark and full of nasty things like werecats and dark magic. Okay, it’s not that bad, actually rather interesting. But I'm not telling you anything else! Especially nothing about Gray Paw, I never should have mentioned him in the first place! Felis's whiskers...Fine, I'll tell you everything, from Hiro, to End, to Gray Paw, but if you ever tell anyone--! That will be a very bad day for you both. Here goes, my nosy little nieces. Ps. Don’t tell any of your teachers at Rowendor, even if you have questions about the magically aspects of this story, ask me instead. Those stuffy coffee-sippers are as helpful as potatoes. No, wait, potatoes are more helpful. You can eat them. Stuffy coffee-sippers not so much.

Yeet, thanks. What she turns into a toad or a mosquito or something like that?

Woo-hoo!!
Yes, I know quite well what that's like.

I thought you would. Which character is the most like that for you? Yay!!

Cool! What is it about them that makes them like that for you?
I think it's partly because a couple of them are some of my oldest long-lasting characters, and partly because I've slipped in pieces of my personality and my own past experiences into their characters and backstories.

Sorry, I've been preoccupied with other writing projects lately so I haven't much done on WotV, but here's what I have copied from my notebook so far. * * *
Twelve-year-old Rowena Highmore was not amused. She was generally quite happy, except for when her relatives were over, those pompous turned-up-noses, but now she was anything but happy. “Why do I have to go to that stupid magic school?” She complained. “I don’t want to!” Her mother, Umbra Highmore, shook her head in disappointment and scowled harder, “You should be grateful! End is not the same as it was when I was a girl, you're quite lucky to be able to attend such a school! I don’t care if you don't want too anyway, because this is--” “’For my own good,’” Rowena mocked, “I know, mother, you tell me that all the time! I don’t care if you think its for my own good, I don’t want to! Why don’t Hermione and Drake have to go?” “Because, I’ve already told you, they are human, they can easily learn magic. You, not so much. Nevertheless, you will. You’ll go pack now so that we can arrive at moonhigh.” Umbra decided with a nod. “End of discussion.” Rowena glared at her mother then stormed away from her, hot, angry tears streamed down her cheeks as she marched out of the dimly-lit living room, up the stairs and into her room. Rowena slammed the door shut and reluctantly looked at the list her mother had given her of what she'd need.

No worries, it's good to see that you're still active in any case.
Poor Rowena.
@bold: I'm chuckling at the irony because one of the main characters in Harry Potter is named Hermione.
