ONE LIFE FOR A THOUSAND
A poem
One life for a thousand,
Could a trade be more fair?
Then one life for a thousand,
To be sacrificed everywhere.
Our brave warriors,
Dancing in the breeze,
But later, when death comes,
As still and solemn as trees.
One life for a thousand,
Are our soldiers even aware,
That they are saving thousands,
Everywhere?
