Picking up the pace, Azril and Robin follow Maicyn to the practice field.
As they approach the field, Azril sees a white-skinned woman talking to a woman on a feathery flying serpent. Nearby are a human man, a human woman, a scaly man, two dragons, and a giant winged cat. Most of them seem to be paired up as if to duel. A dark haired man runs by Azril and Maicyn, another dragon at his side. To Maicyn, he says, "What are you doing here?" She scowls at him in place of a reply, and he passes them without another word.
The white-skinned woman catches sight of them now and calls out, "Maicyn, come over here! Let's talk."
Scowling again, Maicyn complies. Before Azril can join her, she holds up her hand. "Not you. Go talk to the others." She points at the group of Riders to their left and continues onward towards the woman.
OOC: So, I'll be out of town from the coming Sunday to the Sunday after, and won't be able to post, as I have said. You can interact with the other players during that time to keep something happening. The human man and sand-colored dragon are Winn the Great, who seems to be inactive right now. The scaly man and pale blue dragon are TheGreatCon. The human woman and flying cat are Neko. The other woman and flying serpent (a Drake) are 22Dynamite. I'll still be able to post tomorrow, to help move things along if need be.

“Oh my god, Sage, I told you not to stare!” Cadmar whispered loudly at her best friend. The drake uttered a small roar, lifting the base of her wings as if she was shrugging. The white-skinned woman neared her, and Cadmar’s mind drew a blank. She wanted to make a good impression, though she didn’t want her to be spotted that fast. ”Hello, ma’am, just hoping to spy on your training!”. ‘Yes, excellent introduction, Cadmar!’ Sage roared somewhat embarassedly and hid her face in her wings.
The woman watches this, looking unimpressed. She turns to one of the humans, a dark-haired young man. "Take Aretgarlja and go tell your father we have an arrival." The man nods, then motions to the dark blue-scaled creature. The two of them run off.

She points at the rest of the group, now consisting of the other human man, the human woman, the scaly man, the remaining three creatures, and now the boy and his dog. The girl, Maicyn, reaches them, and the white-skinned woman steps aside to talk to her.

OOC: Trying to work my way over to say hi, but both my characters are caught up right now. I'm gonna go ahead and have Finn's duel happen because Winn's inactive, and then he can come over and say hi.
OOC: Since we haven't heard from Winn in a while, I'm going to go ahead and advance the story.
IC: Dernis, Aretgarlja, Basa, Heren, Giddy, Finn, Azar, and Callusthe arrive at Practice Field A, where Zariana is waiting for them. She is a short woman, rather slight of build but muscular, with chalk white skin and red eyes. Her hair has almost as much silver as it does black, and there are fine wrinkles around her eyes and mouth and on her forehead. For all that she does not appear formidable, however, Dernis, Basa, Giddy, and Azar all know that she could take any of them in a fight, even without the use of her Vampyre abilities. "Listen up, Riders!" she shouts, her voice clear and sharp, "We're going to start today with some duels, one-on-one. Dernis, you're with Basa, Giddy, you're with Azar. Aretgarlja, Heren, Finn, the three of you can rotate, Heren and Finn first. Begin!"
Finn and Heren fight a quick duel, with Finn trying to use his icy breath to his advantage, but it only works to knock the other dragon's focus off. He is overpowered due to his lack of fighting expertise, and Heren's agility. Finn has much to learn about the art of fighting.
"Yeah," Azar replies. She shrugs in response to the rest, "I can't say I'm that good myself, having never received proper training." The girl drew her sword, "Do we just practice with our normal weapons then?"
OoC: Sorry for taking so long, Con.
"Sounds good!" Giddy heads for the rack of weapons, though. "I don't think my knives will be any good against your sword, though. No worries, I'll try a blade! Always wanted to swing one of these around!"

Cadmar gasped, grinning. She poked her elbow to Sage's ribs. "Sage! It's a frost dragon! Oh, it's so beautiful! I think it's a he, Sage!" Sage whispered in a high-pitched tone. Sage's eyes were transfixed on her greeter, and Cadmar laughed at the sight. "Yeah, handsome isn't he?". Cadmar put her hands on her knees, lowering her body to call out to the dragon even though she was only an inch taller than him. "Hi, buddy!"

OOC: I think the best thing to do now would be to take a roll call. Once I know who exactly is still here and able to participate, I'll restructure the current events appropriately.
