He sets down his bag and unpacks his things: a map, some food, a flask of water, a few tools, a tattered saddle blanket, and a small pocket watch.

The afternoon fades a little bit as he does this, but with so little to take care of, he finds that there is still quite a bit remaining.

"No, he just needs to talk to you." Dernis leads Azril back to the tower and up to Hithrol's office.
The door is open and Hithrol gives a friendly smile, gesturing for Azril to come inside. "Thank you, Dernis."
"Yes, come in, sit down." He gestures to the chair on the opposite side of his desk. "How has your day been?"
"It's been awesome!" he blurts as he seats himself. "This place is so cool, and there's so much to learn! I can't believe I'm gonna become a Rider!"
Hithrol chuckles softly. "That's good to hear. I'm glad to have you here. Now, there are a few business items we need to discuss. As long as you're here, we can provide what you need -- food, clothing, weapons. You'll also receive a portion of the income from any missions you participate in, and if you would like additional funds you may file a request. In terms of your training, I've been talking to Dernis and we've laid out a schedule. You'll be working on archery with Eldren in the morning, followed by a brief combat session with Zariana. After lunch, you'll pick up with the combat training for a while, then move to other lessons. And finally you'll work with Obsȃr in the smithy. I'd imagine you'll be ready to find a Companion in a month, and from there you'll continue your training with him or her until you're ready for missions. What do you think?"
