In the last year lego has made many business decisions that have left us wondering why From making the website junk to calling lego life a safe social media for kids But by far the worst thing theyve done is a feature in lego life This feature is the way they have you cahnge settings In order to change a setting you have to solve a simple multiplication or division problem and on a page that says hello parent Do they expect to stump anybody in 3rd grade and up to be stumped by this problem? If so what has the world come to? I mean these are problems you learn in 3rd grade what teena ger would be stumped by that i mean unless you haven't had an education you would the answers All in all legos web and app production has gone down hill Hopefully lego will realize that were not mindless sheep and turn things around

I too have been greatly distressed by LEGO's businesses for some while now....but this is even more evidence of a disheartening nature.

Really!? *checks* Whoa, they really expect this to work? *does the maffs question* I’ve hacked into the mainframe! >:-D
Seriously though, who at LEGO HQ thought this was going to work? I mean, what’s even gong to stop the kindergarteners from getting calculators and doing the math problem on that? XD
As someone who just finished my first year of college, I can confirm that sometimes multiplication and division are hard. Some days your brain just refuses to work at all, so you just gotta give up.
Anyway, I just got onto the LEGO Life App today and it's perhaps the second most clumsily-designed thing I've ever had the displeasure of navigating, behind only LEGO's website. It's so hard to find what you're looking for, and it keeps showing me things I didn't ask to see like random pictures of minifigures out in people's yards holding a flower or something.
Yeah, it's extremely unfortunate. We used to have My LEGO Network, LEGO Message Boards, LEGO Galleries, and the LEGO Club website. Now LEGO literally has nothing on their website but a store and random stuff.

They have a few games on there, but nothing as awesome as what they used to have.

Maybe we should re-create the Lego club website.
Well, true story, I actually was sort of recreating it, but I scrapped the project.
What? Okay, I mean, it was a while ago. Maybe I'll bring it back up.
So, how would you do it? make a whole forum called Lego Club with news, membership stuff and all that? I might be a bit too hopeful here.
Nah, probably a replica of the original LEGO Club site (with like y'know, talking to characters like Lloyd and Max) . Yeah, probably with news and some type of a membership thing (not sure if I can get anyone to make an online PDF magazine each month though).

Yeah, that would be awesome. All we need are a few files worth of Lego Club nostalgia.
