Elliea finally was able to stretch and she twister her back left, then right in pure delight. She took a moment to glance around, lifting her duffel to her shoulder as Gabriel, the deaf travel companion, stumbled out of the plane with his two suitcases. He came up beside her and signed ‘WOW! This place is awesome!’ with as much energy hands could emit. Elliea smiled and nodded. She clumsily signed to him that he should hand over all this travel papers and then follow closely. After a moment he got the jist and began rifling through all his stuff. He searched all three of his luggage pieces before realizing it was all in the pocket of his coat. He blushed sheepishly and apologized for being such a klutz as he handed her the very un-orderly stack of official papers, and the occasional grocery receipt. Elliea waved him off good naturedly and tapped the papers into a neat stack before walking in the direction of the checkpoint. She got to the desk and checked to make sure he had followed before smiling professionally at the lady behind the desk and bulletproof glass wall. “Hi. I’m with my friend here and we’re going to be catching the connecting flight to Bristria. It leaves in twenty minutes.” The desk lady, her name tag read “lisa”, simply reached out her hand to take the papers. Elliea’s smile disappeared and she slid both their paper docs through the narrow slot to lisa. Lisa took her time sorting through them and stamping them with Elliea endured the silent terror of potential discovery. She was very much on the wanted list and she wasn’t sure if the special papers would pass her. In her head she hoped very strongly that King had gotten some jets from Zechariah so they wouldn’t have so much danger and openness much longer. Finally lisa handed the papers back and the gate buzzed loudly, allowing them through it. Elliea turned and tugged on Gabriel’s sleeve before nodding her head at the gate. Once safely through they had to actually run to the boarding gate. With only ten minutes on the clock they fidgeted at the boarding gate as a stewardess checked their papers for the stamps and took Gabriel’s suitcases.
Finally with five minutes to go they rushed into the plane and crammed their bags into the overhead before collapsing and buckling their seat belts as the plane began making plans to taxi onto the takeoff runway. Gabriel signed wearily that he was glad they managed to make it and also thanked her saying that there was no way he could have made it without her help. Elliea smiled and told him no problem. “It’s a good thing you can read lips too, that helps supplement my lacking sign language skills.” One side of his mouth went up in a grin and he signed that she wasn’t to bad. She just smiled, shook her head and pulled out her laptop to log a few more hours of writing while he settled back to nap.

Damian lurked in his darker corner in the very back of the bus and glared hatefully at anyone who looked like they were contemplating sitting near him. Penny and Rhett sat in the connected seats immediately in front of him. Penny was coding a project on her laptop but had fallen asleep on her brother’s shoulder and he reached over and closed her laptop, putting it in her bag. The night pressed in on the bus. The heavy uniform pitch blackness of the night was depressing Damian. Their bus felt like a can with a massive amount of pressure leaning on it from all sides. And they were the sardines in the can. Damian had to admit that he normally didn’t care one way or another about travelling at night but that was because he was normally with a member of his team. He felt oddly out of place and unsettled. The bus stopped and two people straggled on. One of them headed his direction and he stuck his foot out from his corner and shot a dark look straight into their eyes. The person froze and backed up before taking a seat further to the front. Everyone on here probably thought he was a serial smasher but he wasn’t in the mood to care. He leaned his head back wondering if sleep was a possibility but after thirty minutes of that he gave up and stared blankly out of one of the windows.
It finally struck him that he was missing Elliea. He sighed heavily. He wished he hadn’t chickened out at the airport. They had always been open and honest with each other. For years they were closer than close but when he realized that he was starting to grow to like her as more than friends he somehow couldn’t get the words out. They had had plenty of more difficult conversations. They had talked about money and pain and even what happened if one of them didn't make it. They’d propped each other up when missions went bad and when they’d lost agents. He had to admit to himself that maybe he didn’t tell her because he was afraid that closeness they had would be shattered if he went and changed their relationship now. Damian suddenly was aware that Rhett was staring at him. Damian frowned and snapped, “What.” Rhett lifted an eyebrow, “You’ve been awful all evening, penny for your thoughts.” Damian blinked twice before hesitantly muttering. “I’ve got this friend. I’m kind of concerned for him.” Rhett nodded, “Sure.... Well what about him?” Damian sighed once more, “Well he likes this girl but chickened out on telling her even though I pushed him to. He told me he’s scared of change and now I don’t really know what to tell him.” Rhett lifted both eyebrows, “Does this friend of yours have a name?” Damian gave an expressionless deadpan, “Leland...” Rhett shrugged, “Well I’d suggest that you tell him to just get it off his chest and tell her. He’s not going to be able to live working closely with her otherwise.” Damian crossed his arms, “Who says they work together?” Rhett rolled his eyes and turned to face back forward, “Right right…” Damian grumbled under his breath, “Don’t know why I told you anyways...you don’t care about......Leland.”
Ah good okay. What did you think of the second one? The first one you can skip imo but your choice.
I liked it. It got sort of hard to follow at times, but that may just be because time elapsed between parts where I forgot what was going on.
Oh cool. : D Ah, well either way I hope you enjoy this one to. Try and find your character while you're reading if you want an extra thing to do while you read.

I am so far. I think I have a guess, but I'm going to keep searching for clues.
