A century ago, the human population of the earth was in crisis. Nations warred with each other and with themselves, and many were lost in the crossfire. Those who managed to escape created a new society, one without war or conflict...or so they thought. A "perfect" society, divided by personality and beliefs, one where no one ever fought, suffered...or learned?
One day, the divisions rose up against the Central who controlled them, wanting a world with free will and integration, but most of the Central wouldn't listen. Despite the pleas of some of its members, the government decided to closely monitor each division and put those who weren't "perfect" by their division's standards
(Based partly on The Hunger Games, Divergent, and the works of Lois Lowry)
List of Divisions:
Central: The controlling division. People there are generally cruel and haughty, hiding behind a friendly facade. The rebels are generally kinder and more open, and some even sneak off to other divisions. Generally members live a life of luxury and get good education. Colors: Blue, white, black.
Austere: Selfless and pure, Austere members live lives of abiding completely by the rules and helping people when they could. Not many of them joined the rebellion out of fear, but a surprising number did nonetheless. They live restricting lives and aren't allowed to think about themselves or look in the mirror. Colors: Grey and white.
Jubilation: The kind, peaceful ones. Jubilation members are open and accepting to everyone. The most Central refugees live here. Jubilation members generally live comfortably, among loving families and supporting friends, and have a lot of children due to their love for them. Not many joined in the rebellion. Some did, but they were non-violent and generally rebelled in small acts or peaceful protest. Colors: Yellow, red, orange, pink
Lionheart: The brave ones, often fight for their faction if war erupts. The most rebels unsurprisingly come from here. Most likely to do daring (but often dumb) feats, like jumping off trains and pulling elaborate pranks. Live dangerous lives, but seem to have the most fun, along with Jubilation, of the divisions.
Astute: The intelligent. Often operate as accountants, programmers, doctors, scientists and political intelligence. Live their lives exploring knowledge and learning. Higher education is mandatory and often strict, but members tend to love learning nonetheless. One of the wealthier divisions. Rebels are a surprising number, despite Astute often siding with Central due to their similarity, and tend to be hackers, spies and infiltrators. A very high-tech division. Members tend to be somewhat snooty and perfectionist.
Artifice: The craftsmen. Create architecture, clothes, weaponry, contraptions and furniture. Often inventors, mechanics, blacksmiths and architects. The most creative of the divisions. Rebels often supplied fighters and created fortresses and bases.
Veracity: The honest. Always speak their mind, good in politics and debates. Always tell the truth, even if it hurts. Often lawyers, politicians, and critics. Tend to be sarcastic, straightforward, blunt, and a little rude. They're relatively wealthy and live pretty good lives, but often disregard it and don't think much of it, more interested in politics and world problems. Rebels are often sleeper agents and undercover, despite their past in honesty, since they're good at fitting in with government.

Rules:
One or two characters from each division per person. (Animals/pets don't count.) Smashing another player's character is not allowed without their permission. Diversity in characters is allowed and maybe even encouraged. Humans and robots are allowed. Tell me if you want to suggest another race. I think you know the rules about violence and inappropriate content. Friendship between different players' characters is allowed, along with romance (with consent).
