-Freeman casually comes into the meeting room, thinking to himself- These Sucker's better give us the help we need so we can go explore out west, if... whatever attacked me in the water, i will probably pay whomever that was a visit. Whomever can handle the north, that's their issue, not ours.
-he'd casually sit down at the end of the long meeting table and eyed the four, waiting for them to start playing charades with him.-
The Unichi leaders greet the Sect leaders, and take seats at the table.
Calloran: "First off, if I may be so bold as to assume, it seems Freeman is a great deal more interested in what lies to the west, than in the Sabertoothes' actions to the north. Attacking the Sabertoothes would also mean starting a war with them as well, anyway. Retaking Crystal Crater from the Icebears is definitely a priority, but for the time being, let's focus on the exploration of the West Sea."
Craunus: "...True enough. The creature that attacked Freeman on the shore is reason for worry. Perhaps it was one of the rays King Erdrik talked about at the Summit, or maybe it was something else entirely."
The Unichi leaders recap what happened to the Sect leaders.
Gorvan: "The Gorilla Tribe has a powerful fleet that can travel more adequately on the sea, and can store a lot more chi for power, than simple troop transport aircraft. You see what I'm getting at? If the Forgotten agree to join our alliance, we, in return, will enable you to finally venture farther west."
Gorvan smiles at Freeman.
-Freemean raised a brow at this intrest and nodded silently, surely the airboats fielded by the Forgotten were getting somewhat out of place for deep-ocean travel, sure they have that one Raven Ship that was completed by them as a Research vessel, but not as any combative vessel. This could prove an healthy contribution to the Forgotten's mercenary-like behavior fo getting the well-needed modern military tech other chimian militarism had compared to their scrap mechanics that were tried and true.-

-Freeman nodded, and the others all agreed to it, this new exploratory fleet will probably be the first every expedition to out west in the sea, past St. Olga's boundaries, being the western-most Forgotten territory they own!-
Rhiala Reone: "Hoh ho! This is gonna probably make us RICH i tell you!"
Rica: "More territory for my monarchy to spread their wings and fly~!"
Spalyx: "There certainly must be some folk out there whom would be willing to work with us... whaddya think, Scordon?"
-the Goatee'd scorpion looked towards his spider companion and nodded-

The Gorilla and Scorpion leaders bid farewell, with the former flying west to organize their fleet, and the latter walking slowly as they discuss how they’ll deal with the Icebears at Crystal Crater. However, just as the Scorpion Consuls are about to leave, they are stopped by Stannis Rax, waiting on the landing pad in front of their Stinger-Copter, alone with no guards. The Consuls’ guards reflexively move in front of their leaders.
Craunus: “Wait, are you...?”
Stannis: “King Stannis Rax of the Spider Tribe, now allied with the Forgotten.”
Craunus: “WHAT?! Why wouldn’t the Forgotten tell us—?!”
Stannis: “Now, now, settle down. It’s not like that. The Forgotten is now part of Unichi, right? Well hear me out: I will help you retake your former home from the Icebears, and dissolve the ‘Spider Tribe’ into the Forgotten, which has pretty much already begun, so you won’t have to worry about your ally having any secret alliances with other tribes.”
Calloran: “This sounds like too good a deal on our end. Why would a King dissolve his power and his entire tribe? And what’s in it for you if you help the Scorpions?”
Stannis: “The Spiders as a tribe aren’t good at staying unified. Royal Houses are constantly competing and stabbing each other in the back; the only reason I’m on the throne is because I’m a relative of a usurper of another usurper. If the Spiders stay a monarchy, I’ll just be overthrown anyway. See, it’s ironic: the Spiders hated the Forgotten when they were a rebel faction, and yet the “wild” Forgotten have more order and stability to them than our tribe. That is what I realized.”
Stannis scratches his neck.
Stannis: “Oh, and as for what I get out of helping you? Territory in the Outlands. Unichi took over most of the Outlands after your attack on Black Fang Mountain and the Sabertoothes. I want just a little land back for my people, and a share of Crystal Crater’s mining profits, once you reclaim it. Besides, the ‘Spider Tribe’ will fuse with the Forgotten, as promised, so power for us means power for Unichi anyhow. Everybody wins.”

He shakes Stannis’ hand.
After relaying all this to the Forgotten and Gorilla leaders, the Spider, Scorpion, and Gorilla armies aside from the Gorilla Fleet mobilize, marching and flying east.
Not too long after his last conversation with the leaders of the Empire of Balance, Leonard (the one currently on communications duty for the Forgotten) gets two prerecorded radio transmissions simultaneously. One is the Gorillas' announcement to Unichi, urging the the other factions in the alliance to assist in defending the Lion City, and the other is a private message to Leonard specifically, from Leodus, urging him to do the same. While both messages tell Leonard to convey the news about the attack to the Forgotten's leaders, the lion hesitates in doing so.
Leonard: "What am I supposed to do?? I feel... loyalty... to the Forgotten and Unichi, but no! I'm not one of them! I'm here to be a spy for the Empire of Balance... and yet... Leodus, to, wants me to help the Lions fight the Eagles. Do I side with the Lions, my species and the tribe I joined as an adult, or the Eagles, who raised me and were my family?"
The conflicted spy clutches mane with both hands.
Leonard: "Why has my allegiance become so complicated?! Lions, Leopards and Vultures, Unichi and Forgotten, Eagles... Who am I supposed to be loyal to?! It can't be all of them at once, so what do I do?!?!"
Leonard roars and throws himself against the glass of the radio tower, causing a large crack to form. However, he stops himself before attempting to shatter the glass completely.
Leonard: "No... not like this. What I need to do is choose a side. It's time for me to put my foot down, and figure out who I am truly loyal to..."
Soon after, the lion deletes the two messages, preventing the Forgotten from learning about the battle at the Lion City for the time being.

With his plan to prevent the Forgotten from learning about the Battle of Lion City having ultimately failed, Leonard leaves Southernfell in his jet while the Forgotten's leadership is away at the battle.
