The sets actually look pretty good to me, especially the mechs for D.Va and Reinhardt as well as the Bastion. I actually just found out that the Bastion can become some sort of cannon. The rest of the sets aren't as good as I expected, but most of them look nice.

Yeah, they really do! The minifigs are pretty good as well, though I don't think printing bubblegum on D.va is the best idea, but whatever. (I also used to think the McCree fig didn't come with hair because he wore a hat, but apparently I was wrong and he does have a nice hairpiece.) And yeah, Bastion can become kind of a sentry as well as a tank.
I'll probably read the comics just to get more details on the story. So far, from what I've seen it looks like Overwatch is about a team of heroes called Overwatch that somehow disbanded, and then Winston recalled Overwatch back to help defeat a new group of villains? Is that accurate?

Yup. And movies. And Batmans.
Hmm, well...the moves last very brief, but yeah, I think you are invulnerable for the time you're using it. Unfortunately though, if you're hacked by the character Sombra (her hacking prevents her from using abilities), you can't use those and you're stuck with just your Pulse Pistols. Luckily hacking is temporary.
