Hey everyone (if anyone stumbles across this)! If you know anything about Exo-Force, you know that it ended very abruptly and its story was left unfinished. If you don't know anything about Exo-Force, I encourage you to go read a few of the comics on the Exo-Force wikia, but I'll attempt to make the story readable on its own. You need only know that the theme was about a bunch of humans fighting evil robots in mechanical battle machines and takes place on the split Sentai Mountain. The last comic left off with the four heroes--Takeshi, Hikaru, Ryo, and Ha-Ya-To--going into the jungle to save their leader, Sensei Keiken, from the clutches of the robot leader Meca One. I really enjoyed the theme and have thought for many years that it's a shame it was never finished--so a few days ago I resolved to finish it myself.
This is meant to take the place of the fourth and final chapter in Exo-Force's story, so expect it to be pretty awesome. =P
Unfortunately the summary is too long to fit in this same post, so if you would please humor me and scroll down a tad to read what the actual story is about....
The mission into the jungle has ended in disaster. Hikaru, Ryo, Takeshi, and Ha-Ya-To arrived too late to prevent Meca One from securing the remote Golden City outpost where he was created. In a final desperate battle to save Sensei Keiken, the four heroes were beaten back by the furious might of the robots--but not before breaching the outpost and recovering a mysterious key-code, which may hold ties to the Golden City where Exo-Force now makes its home. But it is not enough to make up for their lost Sensei. Takeshi's team returns to the Golden City in defeat, bearing their news, the code, and one thing more--the knowledge that within the jungle outpost, Meca One has access to the strange energies which split Sentai Mountain in two when the robots first rebelled. Faced with this and the ever-growing number of robot battle machines on the opposite side of the mountain, Exo-Force is in desperate need of an advantage. Ryo believes they have found it when the code unlocks the Mothermind, the Golden City's main computer hidden beneath its central tower. But Hitomi, Keiken's granddaughter and the new leader of Exo-Force, thinks otherwise. When the Mothermind reveals the location of a massive, untapped power source, hidden on the robot side of the mountain, she guesses it is a well of the powerful energies which Meca One is beginning to harness. Hitomi sends Takeshi and Hikaru to secure this location and discover if it can be of use, while she, Ha-Ya-To, and Ryo remain at the Golden City to hold back the robots and unlock the deepest secrets of the Mothermind. But neither the computer nor the hidden power is what it seems--and if Exo-Force cannot uncover the truth of both, they may well face their doom. So now the final battle for Sentai Mountain begins, as Exo-Force scrambles to find anything that could give them the upper hand over Meca One's relentless forces. New friendships will be made, old loyalties will be tested, and great battles will be fought--but it is all for naught if Exo-Force's courage is not enough to stand against the iron hand of their enemy.

*bookmarks* Never heard of Exo-Force till today.
You should have. It was really cool back in, like 2007. It wasn't as awesome as BIONICLE, but it was still cool. =P
"Awesome" or "cool." I picked it up at summer camp last year.
Ah. Unfortunately, as I actually have a life, I won't be able to update this story very often (read: there will be long hiatuses), but I'll at least try to keep it going.

I will always be here waiting for moar. CONgrats on Galdiator, by the way.
Leastways, it seemed so to Takeshi. He jammed his joysticks forward, urging his battle machine onwards, but the only response was a halting whir of gears from somewhere near the knees. He tried again--the mech jerked, staggered, and slumped as a flashing message popped up in his heads-up display: POWER CORE COMPROMISED.
Takeshi groaned. Ever since the battle at the jungle outpost, his machine had been falling apart around him. First the radiator had gone out; then a vital circuit had fused; now, it seemed, the entire thing had just given up and become a standing piece of junk. He clenched a fist and slammed it down on the radio transmitter. "Guys, my power core's shot," he said into the receiver. "I think the Assault Tiger has gone on its last hunt."
"At least you can still make jokes about it," came Ha-Ya-To's voice from the speaker, although he didn't sound as though he had laughed at all.
Takeshi shook his head and opened the cockpit. It was the last thing his battle machine could handle: a moment later, there was a muffled pop from the circuitry behind the pilot's seat and billows of smoke came seeping out of cracks in the armor. Takeshi swung down and dropped heavily to the ground. His teammates gathered around him, Ha-Ya-To in his River Dragon mech and Hikaru and Ryo in the Chameleon Hunter. Ryo's own machine had been destroyed in the fight at the outpost, a fact which he had lamented many times on the arduous climb back up Sentai Mountain. But nothing could be done about it, and no one felt like telling him to just let the machine go. They had lost too much more in the jungle to care about one pile of bolts.
Ha-Ya-To opened his cockpit and motioned for Takeshi to climb in with him. "It'll be a tight fit," he said. "The River Dragon's only built for one. Still, it beats walking." He winced as another explosion came from Takeshi's own machine. "Sorry about the Assault Tiger."
"It was sweltering in there anyway," Takeshi muttered, which was true--after the radiator went out, there was no cooling system, and the sun was not particularly merciful on the mountain's slopes. Still, Takeshi was glad that the sun was still shining at all.

Sensei Keiken was gone, and with him, Exo-Force's entire world. They were left leaderless--well, not exactly, since Keiken had appointed his granddaughter Hitomi to take his place in his last message, but the loss was still deeply felt by all. Keiken had created Exo-Force; Keiken had led it through the terrible battles with the robots; Keiken had brought Takeshi's team together and made them strong. And he was gone.
No, Takeshi thought, it did not feel like the sun should be shining. Not today.
Hikaru must have read his thoughts, because he spoke over the radio as Takeshi climbed into the River Dragon: "Keiken always told us to never give up hope. There's still hope, Takeshi. You just have to see it."
"I know, I know," said Takeshi. "It's just--hard."
"Keiken also said never to give up," said Ha-Ya-To, pressing against the cockpit wall to make room for Takeshi.
Takeshi squeezed next to him and shrugged. "I know," he repeated. "We haven't given up. I'm not giving up. Ever. I'll fight Meca One with my bare hands if I have to."
"We all will," said Hikaru through the speaker.
"But we sure could use something more than our hands," Ha-Ya-To said. "I'm not sure these battle machines will cut it."
Ryo's voice came over the radio. "We have the code from the outpost. I think that'll help." There was a moment of silence, and then he added, "Maybe."
"I'd rather have my battle machine back together," Takeshi said. "Anyway--let's get moving."
They started up the mountain again, leaving the broken Assault Tiger where it stood. They did not have the parts or tools to repair its power core. Even if they did, they weren't sure they had the time. Meca One could have sent robots after them from the jungle outpost. So far there had been no signs of pursuit, but they had stolen something from Meca One, and if he wanted it back--well, at the very least, he wouldn't find it easy to reclaim.
Thankfully, the bulk of the journey was behind them. The mountain's summit, where the Golden City stood, was close. Takeshi felt both relief and regret: relief that safety was near, and regret that every step their battle machines took was one more step farther from Sensei Keiken.

The Golden City came into view at noon. Takeshi didn't even notice at first. He was busy turning the code card which they had recovered from the robots over and over in his hands, staring at the silver letters emblazoned on one face. To think that this was the only thing they had to show for all their efforts in the jungle was like having a weight dropped on his head: to think that it may not even do anything useful was unbearable. "You had better help," he murmured.
"Talking to codes?" said Ha-Ya-To. "We'll find a way to make something work, Takeshi. Look--we're here."
Takeshi looked up to see the shining walls of the Golden City looming just above them. They were nearly at the gates. Out of habit, Takeshi glanced to his right, across the yawning chasm in Sentai Mountain to the robot's side of the world. Nothing had changed since last he had been here. There was still a gigantic fortress there, shaped like the ruthless, angular head of a robot, staring across the highest bridge to the Golden City.
If looks could kill, Takeshi thought.
Ha-Ya-To and Hikaru urged their machines to the gate. A sentry stationed on the walltop spotted them; a few moments later, the huge doors were opened and the battle machines carrying the battered team lumbered over the threshold. Takeshi stared out through the windshield. Sentries and people were flocking to see them with joy written in their faces. He bit his lip. All they had to give was bad news.
The people seemed to realize this, slowly at first, then quicker as the glad cries faded to be replaced with silence when they became aware of Sensei Keiken's absence. After a long pause, Hikaru opened the cockpit of his Chameleon Hunter and said in a voice Takeshi only heard over the radio, "Where's Hitomi?"
The sentries pointed them wordlessly to the central citadel. Hikaru nodded, and the four teammates climbed mutely from their machines and started towards the tower.
