The Bats bring Scordon and the lions' ship to New Bat Island, to help repair their boat (the bat technicians have more time on their hands now that the Second Fleet and the seawalls are finished). Dr. Benjamin: "Now what's Doctor Scordon Freeman doing all the way out here with lions? We're a long way from the mainland. Are you lions alright? You seem like you've just been unfrozen; I know the feeling."

“O-oh! Yes! My Ice Hunter Transformance prosedures! I should tell you Doc Ben, that i have succeeded in transforming an Ice Hunter back into his original forme back centuries ago! Sadly... i don’t have him with me, he’s been kidnapped by some other Sabertooth, along with us too, but... well... the experience was thrilling, to say the least!”
-Pvt. Lindbergh growls and looks upset- Lindbergh: “I cannot trust these mad scientists!! Why was i and my mate on guard trying to protect you when that crazy Sabertooth attacked and kidnapped us?!”

Yes, I do believe it would be a good move to send you to the mainland with those lions' research team. Permission granted, Doctor."

Dr. Arcadia: “Well, our Boat-craft is only able to be piloted by one person, and theres no other seating for others... so... we can give you the boat to some engineers around here, i dunno how much use they’re gonna get out of the scrap heap of such a Forgotten Vessel, but, they might find something to do with it. We could use a Transport ship to get us back to the mainlands.”

Dr. Benjamin: "I suppose it would've been fairly easy for him to replicate the armor with the more modern materials, especially if he had the Phoenix themselves helping him put it together, which is what it seems like to me."
Bliston goes back to overseeing the currently peaceful Bat Tribe, and caring for his son. Bratta enters Bliston's throne room, where he sits with baby Bernard.
Bratta: "Brother, as much as I enjoy peace, I've noticed the bats around me grow restless. We are a militaristic species who enjoy fighting by nature, remember? A migration won't change instinct."
Bliston: "I know, but I can assure you that our people will get their chance to fight again, either when the western empire of unknown species attacks the east, or when we attack them to prevent that. Either way, my tribe is secure, thanks to our rebuilt arsenal of vehicles and the Second Fleet."
Bratta: "How do I know you're not just making up this 'western empire' to satisfy the Bats' thirst for fighting, while really maintaining peace? If that is the case, I just want you to know that I understand the motive, and I won't be angry at you for—"
Bliston: "How dare you imply that I am indeed lying? I thought you had gotten over your trust issues. It would appear not. To answer your inquiry, no, I am not lying, because other bats can attest to the existence of the western empire; I wasn't even the one who discovered them firsthand. 'Twas Balthazar and the original fleet who discovered the self-proclaimed Imperial scout ship, on the very same expedition in which they found this island, only the scout ship was farther out."
Bratta: "I, uh, I see. My— my apologies, brother."
Bratta shuffles out of the throne room awkwardly, returning to her own children.
