An interesting reveal just came out today about a new mobile game called LEGO Cube. For a long time, LEGO has been in collaboration with a Chinese technology company known as Tencent to produce safe LEGO media. Now, Tencent Games is going to release a brand new LEGO game called LEGO Cube on mobile in fall 2018.

LEGO Cube is described as a safe and fun sandbox game with LEGO bricks. It provides an open world experience, allowing the player to explore large LEGO worlds, build, code and play with digital LEGO bricks, and develop digital skills. There is absolutely no linear path or major story, so players will be free to express their imagination and creativity however they like.

So basically, this game is literally just a mobile version of LEGO Worlds. You can build, you can explore, and you can play. Honestly, I don't really see the point of this. It's a cool idea, but I don't understand what makes this game stand out from all the rest. Maybe it will have some unique features, but for now, I can't see this being much more than a LEGO Worlds clone for mobile.
