Hey, guess what? First I have a bunch of chapters to edit and post, but I'll let your character into my story! Just post a clear enough bio and you may be surprised!
Oh no way! How fun! :3 I don't know whether to enter one or not..
I gently lifted a round, golden pancake with my spatula and slid it onto a large plate, then flipped another, and cascaded more batter onto the empty space. The heavy, sweet aroma slid through my nostrils and I exhaled satisfactorily. Cooking was something I really liked, but my turn in the kitchen came and went, just like that. It gave me some time to myself for once, because we all slept, ate, and hung out together, and though I was...somewhat of an extrovert, it did get tiring socializing 24/7.
The last pancake joined its twin on the last plate, and I called for everyone to come join me.
No answer.
I felt a a tiny, terrifying monster of disturbance in my head. I tensed up, balled up my fists, and threw them up to my head, mind screaming, heart pounding, feeling worthless, powerless, like it was all my fault, like they were all captured, or even destroyed, and it was all me, I couldn't do anything about it, I screamed, I panted, I cried. I knew this was no demon, no mind control, this was all me, all getting worked up. They had probably just gone out without me, on a mission that hadn't required a small, nimble individual such as myself. But during breakfast? This was definitely suspicious.
Tired of standing around and panicking, I left the kitchen and looked, well...everywhere. The sleeping quarters were barren, the control room was empty, the bathroom was vacant, and the brig was unoccupied. It was official; I was alone. Not knowing what else to do, I fell back into the corner of the brig, hugged my knees, lay my head in my arms, and just sat there, crying.
Twitch. Twitch.
It's probably just a glitch in the controls upstairs, I thought, but it sounded like it was coming from right next to me.
Twitch, twitch, twitch.
I looked to the left. There to keep me company was the broken, malfunctioning body of Hanna Julien.

Jay's POV
"Stay calm, Jay," I muttered to myself. "She's not gonna jump out at you or anything."
I knew that, being the Master of Lightning and all, an electric shock wouldn't kill me, so I picked Hanna's body up and put her in a chair on the deck. I went back down and grabbed my toolbox from the drawer under my bed, then came back and began evaluating and repairing her. Once she was conscious, I asked what happened.
"Th-th-there was to-o muc-h co-lddd," she admitted, her voice glitching out as she tried to speak. "I coul-dntt feee-l."
"Hold still," I told her as I began repairing and replacing the worn wires in her back panel. I then moved up to the back of her neck and sighed. "I'm going to have to remove your voice chip," I admitted with a sigh. "Are you okay with that?"
"Wh-whatevvver t-fix me," she replied, her tone somewhat sad.
I closed my eyes, reached into her neck panel and yanked out the problematic chip. She was silent.
"I'm sorry," I muttered with regret, but carried on. Eventually, I finished. "You should be good as new now," I told her. "Almost, at least. I can't do anything about your voice now."
Hanna looked up and tilted her head.
"I'm sorry." I handed her a notepad and pen. "Can you tell me what happened?"
She scribbled down her story; her handwriting was neat, the letters matching.
I tried to run away. I know it seems strange and sudden, but I felt I didn't belong here. I got to Birchwood Forest. The wind was heavy, and the cold bit more than usual. It was so sudden- a giant Treehorn's leg hit my chest and I was thrown back into a tree. It hurt, and I felt something was wrong, and then I just shut off. Someone must have carried me back.
I looked up. Zane had just left the brig. I waved to him, and he nodded.
"Where'd the others go?"
"They got lost looking for Hanna," Zane explained.
"I'm glad they're alive," I said with a sigh of relief.
"We don't know that," Zane replied.
"Then we should go find them," I told him. "We can't just leave them out in the cold."
