By now, I am sure Kalena has informed you of the situation and of my desire to help you. For this purpose, I must share with you a development that has recently come to my attention. Lord Amvion, leader of the Dragon Knights, has sent me a letter telling me he will be coming to the Ruins within the week to inspect our defenses. This may provide an opportunity, or additional risk. Additionally, the messenger I have sent with this letter is loyal to me, as are a handful of the other soldiers in the Ruins. They will help us.

Harfor reads it over and calls Merek to help him with a new one
I have heard of your helping us and we are very grateful. But I ask you, what would be our best course of action. Kalena has implied that you can get the soldiers out, but to keep them there might be a problem.

The messenger takes the letter and leaves for the Ruins.
Harfor welcomes him. "Welcome back! I forgot to thank you for going with the ambassadors and keeping them company. Why do you wish to see me?"
OOC: Sorry guys. Took a break for the holidays
Goatie salutes his leader. ''If it pleases ye, sir - one gets a little bored with nothing to do. May I request an errand to go on? Or perhaps a mission...?'

"For now, we are a little short on weapons. If you could go to the Mercenary village and get us some. Around 20 would do. Think light as well. I will give you some silver to trade" Harfor hands him a pouch. "Any questions?"

''No questions, but may I borrow some large saddle baskets?'' Goatie hangs the pouch on his belt.

"Of course. But it is important that you do not draw too much attention to yourself. After you get them, keep the weapons hidden"

I do have a way to get all of the soldiers out of the fortress. I would like you to move a force a short distance from the fortress, where they can get in quickly, but won't be seen by anyone approaching the fortress. When I give the word, they may enter the fortress to help me hold it. You should also send a group to the Dragon Kingdom's castle, but keep them hidden some distance away. When Lord Amvion returns, ask to begin negotiations. This may help us stall, or it could resolve our problems outright. Finally, you should have hidden soldiers patrolling the border. If they see any armed forces crossing, they should immediately send word to your camp and the fortress, without being seen.

Harfor reads the letter, the calls Merek to get the forces assembled. Merek and some of the more friendly soldiers are given the spot by the Dragon Kingdom, though they are told to be carefull and take a round about way. A small company of scouts and speedy soldiers are sent to patrol the border. The rest of the troops, including Karthon Siku, and Kalena, go to the spot Harfor was told to put them. A few soldiers are left behind. The scouts leave right away. The other groups begin marching, travelling stealthily.

OOC: If Karthon is a member of the HQ, 150. Otherwise, 125. It's 50, plus 25 for every member. And member does mean user, not character. That would be an easy loophole to exploit to get more troops.
