"It's alright," Xavic chuckles "tell me about yourself... Percy was it?"
“Yes. I’m an archer, and I want to follow in the footsteps of justice my father set for me. I’m an orphan now, and I’ve spent the last year or two down in the village as a homeless beggar. I needed a roof over my head and food to eat, so I thought I might as well fulfill my old man’s dream while I did it.”

"You and I have somethings in common then, I'm an orphan too." Xavic sits down and motion for Percy to do the same.
"But my father wasn't so kind as yours, he left my mother and I to fend for our selves."

Percy sits, drawn in by the story. “That’s awful. What happened to her? How did you end up here?”

"After I was born, my father left us. It was hard for my mother to find work, but we always had a roof over our heads and food on the table."
Xavic stares off into the past
"When she got sick, there wasn't anything the doctors could do. I turned to stealing, I went through a dark time. Until a wizard caught me with my hand in his purse, that day he set me straight and pointed me here."

“I’m sorry for bringing up these memories in you. I’m not sure what happened to my mother. It was the one thing Father could never bring himself to tell me.”
Percy stares at the ground.
”I have a question, sir. Do the feelings of sadness ever go away?”

"No," Gor'El walks over and bumps Xavic with his head, "But you can find things to help you through it."
Xavic pets Gor'El's head.
"My advice is find something you love, it'll help you on your bad days and make your good days better."

“Thank you for the advice, sir. And for letting me talk to you about this...sensitive matter.”
Percy rubs his scar.
“I-I’m sorry for wasting your time with my problems,” he stammers. “Was I brought here for a reason, should I be doing something?”
OOC: Not particularly. If you choose stay at the castle, events will hopefully catch up to you soon. If you choose to leave, you can try to look for something exciting to do in another area.
It is early in the afternoon, and Lord Amvion has just finished preparing the letters for the Lion and Shadow Kingdoms. Soon, he hopes, a meeting will be arranged, and he can unveil his plan for the end of the Treaty of Kasp. He has been working on this for weeks, preparing everything perfectly, for he knows the future of the Dragon Kingdom rests on this meeting. As he sends the messengers away with the letters, he allows himself a sigh of relief.
OOC: What would you like to do now? You can talk to Ackar and/or Xavic and/or Captain Jeorge (who has been very helpful throughout this process), or you can find something else to do.
