So this happened. It's a crossover between classic Ninjago, modern Ninjago (season 8-present), and the movie. Hope you enjoy!

"Gyah! Agh! Nnngh!" Cole grunted as he pulled his way up a large rock structure. Though he enjoyed being a DJ, he had to spend some time alone sometimes. He finally managed to swing a leg over the top of the rock, but he literally swung his leg OVER it. Screaming, he felt the world slow down as...
...a muscular, rough hand grabbed his own, holding tight.
Cole grunted, pulling himself up with the stranger's help. In the process, he caught a glimpse of the stranger's face, with long, tangled black hair, sleepy hazel eyes, a strong jaw, hooked nose, heavy eyebrows and tanned skin. "Hey. You...you look like me," Cole muttered.
"Are you alright?" the lookalike asked, looking him in the eye. His voice was a bit softer, raspier than his.
"Yeah," he answered. "Why?"
"You look like me," he said, his eyes widening a bit.
"I just said that," Cole replied. "Your name wouldn't happen to be Cole Hence, would it?"
"Actually, that's my name," the other replied. "This is crazy."
"Crazy is right," another voice called as he made it to the summit as well. Another Cole, this time with a shorter face, puffier eyebrows and shorter, wavier hair. He wiped sweat from his forehead. "So...Cole...Cole...and Cole, huh?"
"What?" The sleepy-eyed Cole turned to the short-haired one. "My...past self?"
Younger Cole chuckled. "I know, right? It's insane! Almost like a rip in the space-time continuum!"
Older Cole stood up. "Wow. I thought I'd seen enough already."
"You guys...but how..." The Cole in the torn AC/DC t-shirt stood as well, nearly stumbling on the edge of the big rock. "I'm so confused."
"It must have been some sort of rift in time," older Cole replied.
"Rift in time?" younger Cole asked in confusion. "You're kidding!"
"I've seen my master turn into a baby, kid." Older Cole chuckled. "I'm not kidding."
"But what about the others?" band-shirt Cole wondered. "I wonder if their situation is as weird as ours..."
As he spoke, a certain curly-haired teen was scaling a twenty-story building...

As he spoke, a certain curly-haired teen was scaling a twenty-story building...
Jay almost let his hand slip as he climbed forward, struggling to reach the top. He panted, on edge, in such a life or death situation. He was almost there...
...when a hand grabbed his. He looked up. The hand was pale, slender, soft, yet cut in places, perhaps from working with tools for years...he followed it to an arm that was slender yet toned, clothed in a thin, royal blue sleeve, a torso just as slim; and then the face. Large blue eyes, youthful freckles, thick, smooth eyebrows, and hair that had been through war. But what stood out was the mark that split his right eyebrow in two. It looked familiar...
The boy pulled Jay up, helping him keep that stubborn scarf from mercilessly slapping his face in the angry winds. "Hey, kid...you...look like me."
Jay raised an eyebrow. The kid had lighter skin, lighter hair, and that eyebrow scar...but the freckles, the eyes, the hair... He raised the other eyebrow, and his eyes got bigger.
He grinned all of a sudden, as if remembering something. "Hey, you're doing the exact same thing! I remember it like it was yesterday, running from junkyard life, climbing that building, testing those wings that could change what everyone thought was possible!" His smile became nostalgic. "I came back because there isn't really a better view of Ninjago City from here."
"Wait," Jay said. "If I'm about to do what you did years ago... what's your name?"
"Jayson Isaac Walker-Gordon."
The darker Jay gasped. "That's my name!"
"It's crazy! I never really thought I'd see the day I meet myself!"
The other Jay just looked at him before looking down. "But we have to get down. How will we...?"
"I have an idea," older Jay said with a brave smile. "Just grab my hand."
"O-okay," younger Jay said, taking his counterpart's hand.
He looked up to the sky, then down, then shuffled his feet into some sort of position, before shouting, "Cyclon-DO!"
Younger Jay felt a small shake, and then he was being carried into the air by some sort of spinning power, blue and wispy but not weak. He found himself descending safely, and he glanced at his wings with a sigh.
"Don't worry," older Jay told him. "There are better places to glide from."
