Temptation gulps, teetering on the edge of two decisions. He coughed, then gasped out. "I-- erm-- well. . . You don't want these." The girl frowns in puzzlement, and Temptation hastens to produce a half-decent explanation, stammering. "Well-- see. . . they might smell good, but actually, these cookies are bad. Yeah. Like, they're rotten. Filled with maggots. Y'know. Bugs, bacteria. Ech." He forces an awkward chuckle that comes out more like a squeak. "Not cool."
"Ah, ok. I understand. You were just going to throw them out." The girl replies with a tiny smile. Temptation lets out a small sigh as a potential crisis was averted.

"Oh, ah-- cool." Temptation waves vaguely down the winding road, saying. "Well, this is definitely the place for adventure," He adds grimly. "For sure." On a sudden thought, he looks over at the girl with something like concern. "Wait-- you're not going alone in these woods, are you?"
The girl responded. "I usually go alone. But I always have a blade on me for defense." She pulls out a sharp short-sword that seemed to glow in the light.

If the next post doesn’t have Temptation say what I think he is going to say then I’m going to be very unhappy!
She replied "Yeah. I've had it for a few years, though I've never actually had to use it on anyone. It's presence seems to instill fear into everyone."
Temptation could see why; the blade was wide and had a steep, sleek edge -- it looked almost big enough to be a hunting knife, or at least a wide dagger. The steel's glint in the dull sunlight warned of a sharp bite. One would have to be a fool not to notice and beware it. "I'm guessing you've never been in these woods before." Temptation turned his gaze back to the girl's face.
