A small chapel sat nearby Lord Fear's estate, close enough that one could see the tips of the towers peering above the trees. Though, it was hard to see them at this time of night. The thick circle of trees and angry glow of torches blocked out of the starlight. The private chapel sat in the middle of a clearing, complete with a small bell in the single stone tower. Around fifty people or so had already gathered there by the time the coach transporting Joy arrived; most were guardsmen, some were Lord Fear's higher officers, while others were a few relatives. All of them wore black, as if they were attending a funeral rather than a wedding. Greed helped Joy out of the carriage and onto the stone pathway. She felt small and conspicuous standing among the black-cloaked crowd while in her bright white wedding gown and glittering jewels. The cool night air chilled her bare shoulders and neck, and she shivered. Lord Fear followed them out, with a long, dark velvet cape trailing behind him in almost liquid movement. Envy took up the rear. She wore a red and black dress; that compared with her ink-black hair and paper-white skin, she looked more like a vampire than a bridesmaid. The priest waited for them at the altar--although, Joy wasn't sure if he was a proper priest or just someone Fear had ordered to act the part. He was a chubby man wearing a monk's robes who flinched whenever Fear glanced at him. His bald head was lined with trickles of sweat. "Is-- is this the b-- bride, m-- m-- my lord?" the man stammered. "No, it's the bridesmaid," Fear responded scathingly. "Of course it's the bride, numbskull! Now get on with it." "W-- wh-- what's the r-- rush?" the priest asked. Fear's gaze darkened. "Never you mind. Just marry this couple or I'll divorce your limbs from your torso." The man yelped and started flipping through an old tattered book. Greed gripped Joy tightly by the arm and brought her to the altar. She resisted the urge to grimace as she leaned against him and tried to look happier than she felt. Luke, come quick. Please.
Ooh, they've arrived at the chapel. That interaction with the priest was brilliant. I can't wait to write the next part!

Wow, it's been about three weeks since I wrote a new part. I'm so sorry for the delay.
For the past few weeks I've been working on school, which was really challenging when the waves of midterms and final exams came in. While I had time to catch up on the LMBE, I didn't have time to think through a part of the story. Now that I'm on Winter break, I can get back to writing new parts and thinking more about this story and not on math.
Back at Lord Fear's estate, all of the guards had left for the wedding, which made it easier for Temptation and Dr. Marty to blow up estate. They went back to the Maximus Tentaculous crystal mines to find some explosives in a nearby storage room.
Considering that Temptation was with the famous Dr. Mortimer Farthingworth, the most brilliant scientist of the medieval era, Temptation decided to let him lead. They collected more and more explosives and fuses to blow the estate to the ground.
"Are you sure we need all of these explosives?" Temptation asked as he carried another crate of explosives into a horse-drawn wagon.
"Yes, if my calculations are correct, for Lord Fear's estate covering ten-thousand square feet, we need about fifteen hundred pounds of explosives and a thousand lines of fuses to tie them all together."
"I have no idea if your calculations are right, but it sounds like it'll take too long. Why don't we just blow up the bottom level while the rest of the estate collapeses on top?"
"...that might actually work." Dr. Marty said. "Let's go with that."
Temptation sat on the horse and Dr. Marty climbed into the wagon, and they raced to the estate. With all the guards gone, they just stopped right outside the front and started lining the explosives.
"Alright Temptation, take the crates of explosives and line them all around the building, about ten feet apart and touching the wall. I will line the fuses." Dr. Marty said.
With those orders, Temptation repeatedly grabbed a crate of explosives from the wagon and placed it against the building, while Dr. Marty connected the fuses between each crate. It didn't take long before they had gone all the way around the building. Temptation grabbed a torch from a nearby wall and stood a safe distance from the detonation area, while Dr. Marty lined the fuse all they way back to Temptation from the closest explosive.
"Now to just check my list of safety standards." Dr. Marty said as he thought to himself.
"Sorry, but we gotta get going." Temptation said as he dropped the torch onto the beginning of the fuse.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! Run away!" Dr. Marty said as the fuse trickled its way down to the first explosive.

Pfffft. XD That's funny.
AHAHAHAHA I HAVE MY BEST CO-WRITER BACK
Thanks.
Yay! I'm glad to be back. I've left the rest of the explosion for you since I know you like explosions.

Temptation is pretty brave to trust a guy who used to work for the bad guys with explosives. Oh boy, better run guys. XD

Oh yes, lots of trust required, but I think they got it.
