The beautiful ocean planet of Dac is home to many species, such as the Mon Calamari and Quarren. It's inhabitants live in highly advanced cities constructed below and atop the glittering waves. Around the world is the ring of the famous Mon Calamari shipyards. In early days of the Empire, the Empire enslaved Dac, seeking to turn it's technology and resources for its own purposes, forcing it's people into slavery. After nearly two decades, the long simmering resistance finally rose up, and forced the Empire off the planet. The Mon Calamari converted their star ships and facilities for war, and became instrumental to the Rebel Alliance, with their cruisers forming the backbone of it's fleet, and their devotion to the cause its heart.
